Clogged filler system in a Zerowatt car
If the washing machine stops filling with water, this entails a lot of problems: the washing does not start, the lights and indicators are blinking. In this case, self-repair is quite appropriate - you will first have to inspect and clean the filter and water inlet hose.
Cleaning the inlet filter and hose:
- Find the water inlet hose (marked in the picture).
- Manually unscrew it from the washing machine body.
- At the place where the hose is attached to the back panel of the SMA, you will see a small mesh - this is the filter.
- Carefully remove the filter using pliers.
Important! Be careful not to damage the filter when removing it. You are unlikely to easily find the original part. And washing without a filter is not recommended - you will quickly clog the washing machine.
- Inspect the filter, remove blockages, and rinse under the tap.
- The hose should also be rinsed under running water.
- Reinstall all parts.
Attention! Do not use tools when assembling the structure - tighten all fasteners by hand. Plastic can be easily damaged, compromising the integrity of the filling system.
A more difficult task is replacing the intake valve. Finding and getting it is not a problem - it is located inside the machine, where the water inlet hose supplies water. To see it, just remove the top cover.

Clogged drain system in Zerowatt machine
First of all, the water drain filter and the drain (sewer) hose may become clogged. A blockage manifests itself mainly in the fact that the machine does not drain water. You will find the hatch behind which the filter and drain hose are located in the figure:
Cleaning the drain filter:
- Prepare a container or absorbent cloth to catch any remaining water that drains from the system.
- Locate the small service hatch on the exterior CM panel in the lower corner.
- Open the hatch and locate the large filter plug.
- Unscrew the filter by hand and remove it.
- Inspect for blockages and clean with a rag or your hands.
- Rinse the filter under running water.
- Reinstall.
- Run a test wash.
If this does not help, clear the blockage in the drain hose:
- Walk around the washing machine or turn the back panel towards you, disconnecting the drain hose from the sewer.
- Drain off any remaining water.
- Disconnect the hose.
- Rinse it thoroughly under the tap.

If this does not help, and the Zerowatt washing machine does not drain water and also displays fault codes (E03), check whether the drain hose is installed correctly. It must be connected to the sewer pipe at a height of 50 cm.

We paid attention to Zerowatt. The name of the Zerowatt company did not tell us anything, but a friend who is well versed in household appliances examined the product carefully and concluded that, although the assembly was “clumsy,” you can buy a Zerowatt washing machine even though its body is made of material not particularly durable.
There were some doubts, but I bought this particular washing machine. I’ll say right away that I haven’t had any regrets yet. Its main advantage is quiet operation. Even during the spin cycle, you can hardly hear anything, although according to the passport data, the Zerowatt should make no less noise than the Samsung model that came before it.
The quality of the washing process is high, items are removed from the drum clean and well wrung out. It would seem that Zerowatt machines are good for everyone, there are no certain inconveniences. For example, you will never be able to open the loading hatch door if the washing powder tray is pulled out - this is not the case in any machine from any manufacturer.

Users claimed that the case is made of low-quality plastic material, the assembly is poor, and the external design is not impressive. Outwardly it looks quite decent; it performs rinsing and spinning even better than the old model. There are quick and pre-wash programs, which are really necessary. But the “Wool” function, in my opinion, is completely unnecessary. Once I was washing a couple of scarves, waited for a long time and finally interrupted the specified process.
