Using additional options (available depending on model)
Delayed Wash () Allows you to delay the start of the wash so that the LG Electronics F4M5TS6W washing machine automatically turns on and finishes the wash after a specified period of time. 1 Press the Power button. 2 Select a wash programme. 3 Press the Delayed Wash button to set the required time. 4 Press the Start/Pause button. NOTE - The specified time is the time at which the program loop ends, not when it begins. Actual operating time depends on water temperature, load and other factors. — To cancel the Delayed Wash function, you must press the Power button. — Avoid using liquid detergents when using this function. No Crease ( ) If you want to prevent the fabric from wrinkling, we recommend using the No Crease option. 1| Press the Power button. 2 Select a wash programme. 3 Click the No Crease button. 4 Press the Start/Pause button. Intensive wash () For medium and heavily soiled laundry, the optimal washing option is Intensive. 1 Press the Power button. 2 Select a program. 3 Click the Intensive button. 4 Press the Start/Pause button. Rinse Delay () The cycle will be paused until the start button is pressed again, at which point the rinse cycle will end. Super Rinse () Provides the best rinsing results. During the final rinse, the temperature reaches 40°C. 1 Press the Power button. 2 Select a program and press the Super Rinse button. 3 Press the Start/Pause button. Turbo wash () A wash cycle lasting less than 1 hour, providing economical energy and water consumption (for half loads). 1 Press the Power button. 2 Select a wash programme. 3 Press the Turbo Wash button. 4 Press the Start/Pause button. Add laundry () This option allows you to add or remove laundry during washing. 1 Click the Add laundry button when the indicator () is active. 2 Add or remove some laundry. 3 Close the door and press the Start/Pause button. NOTE - When the water level or temperature is higher than normal, for your safety the door remains locked and laundry cannot be added. — If the temperature of the water inside the drum is high, wait until it cools down. ATTENTION! Make sure the laundry is completely in the drum. If some of the loaded laundry is in the door hatch area, the rubber seal may be damaged, which may cause leakage and damage to the LG Electronics F4M5TS6W washing machine. Excessive force when opening the door may cause damage to parts, destruction, or safety problems. If you pressed the Add laundry button and the indicator is not active, do not leave the machine unattended and immediately continue washing by pressing the Start/Pause button. If you remain in standby mode for a long time, the door will unlock. Opening the door again will cause water to spill onto the floor, which may cause injury or damage to the floor. Steam (not available on all models) Steam wash () provides a better wash performance due to the properties of steam at low energy consumption. Steam softening () softens and smoothes fabrics well after a spin cycle. For medium to heavily soiled laundry, use the Intensive option. 1 Press the Power button. 2 To use a steam wash, select the program marked STEAM CYCLE that suits you. 3 Press the Steam button to turn on the Steam Wash option. Press and hold the Steam softening button for three seconds to enable the steam softening option. Options can be installed simultaneously. 4 Press the Start/Pause button. NOTE - Do not use steam cycles for wool, silk or fabrics that fade easily. — The option is not available in the temperature mode: “Cold.” Wi-Fi () Press and hold the WI-FI button. Establish a Wi-Fi connection. The indicator on the control panel lights up when Wi-Fi is connected. Remote start ( ) Use your smartphone to control the LG Electronics F4M5TS6W washing machine remotely. You can control the operation of the cycle, find out the time remaining until the end of the cycle.
NOTE • To use the Remote Start option, you need to connect to the router and register your LG Electronics F4M5TS6W washing machine (see Smart Features). Using the Remote Start option: 1 Press the Power button. 2 Load the laundry into the tub, close the door and add the washing powder. 3 Press and hold the Remote Start button for 3 seconds. 4 Start a wash cycle from your smartphone using the LG Smart ThinQ app. NOTE • If you have not started a wash cycle, the LG Electronics F4M5TS6W washing machine will remain in standby mode until you turn it off using the LG Smart ThinQ app or disable the Remote Start option. • When the Remote Start option is enabled, the door is locked automatically. To disable the Remote Start option: Press and hold the Remote Start button for three seconds while the option is active. NOTE • If the door of the LG Electronics F4M5TS6W washing machine is open, Remote Start will not be activated. Dry ((not available on all models) To set the drying time, press the Dry button until the desired time is selected. • The cold tap water must be turned on. • If you turn off the machine while drying, the dryer fan motor will continue to run for some time. Symbols are displayed on the screen. Once cooling is complete, the machine will stop working. • During the last 6 minutes of drying, the sensor detects the drying conditions for the laundry. If the degree of drying is insufficient, the processing cycle is increased by 10 minutes, and the display will show “6” minutes. • After the drying cycle ends, the laundry begins to cool down for up to 4 hours. Cd symbols are displayed on the screen. To end the program forcefully press Start/Pause. Child Lock () Use this function to lock the control panel. This feature may prevent children from changing the wash cycle or operating the product. Locking the control panel 1 Press and hold Child Lock. 2 A beep will sound and CL will appear on the display. To ensure safety in case of emergency shutdown, the Power button is not blocked. NOTE The lock will not be released when the power is turned off. To use other functions, you must disable the lock. Unlocking the control panel • Press and hold Child Lock. • An audible alarm will confirm that the lock has been removed. Turning the beep sound on/off 1 Press the Power button. 2 Simultaneously press and hold the buttons for three seconds: • For models with Wi-Fi (): Temperature and Spin. • For models with NFC (): Temperature and Delayed wash. • For model **H9****: Temperature and Washing Mode. NOTE • The audio device operation setting is retained even after the power is turned off. • To disable it, simply repeat the procedure.
