The tube transmits air pressure to the membrane. The more water in the tank, the higher the pressure. Under its influence, the membrane bends, and at a certain moment the device sends a signal to the computer that the required water level has been reached. To check the sensor, disconnect the tube from it and connect another one of the same diameter, 30–40 cm long. Blow into it, building up pressure. If you hear clicks, this means that the device detects an increase in pressure. Check the tube disconnected from the sensor; it may be clogged or damaged. If the tube is in order, you will have to replace the pressure switch.
The hatch locking device is damaged
Unfortunately, UBLs fail quite often. These locks operate on the basis of a bimetallic plate that expands when exposed to heat.
When the power supply is turned off, a working device should unlock the door after 2-3 minutes when the bimetallic plate has cooled down. If you urgently need to stop work, but there is no need to remove or put in laundry, you can simply click on “Pause”. This will pause the operation; you will not have to open the door with physical force. Then, by clicking on the same button, you can resume the process.

An annoying situation familiar to many: there were only a few minutes left before the wash was completed when the electricity went out. It will not be possible to open the washing machine door until it is resumed - the locking mechanism is broken. If the light is expected soon, it is better to just wait.
In case of long-term power loss, you should not leave laundry in the machine drum. However, you cannot pull it out simply by pulling a special cable. In this case, water from the drum will pour onto the floor, and the threat of flooding the neighbors will become quite real. If there is a lot of water in the tank and automatic draining does not work after turning off the power, you can turn the machine back on and set the “Drain without spin” program. Usually after the end of this cycle the door opens.

Otherwise, you will have to start a new washing program and catch the moment when the door unlocks. This can happen in a matter of seconds - it’s better not to leave the washing machine.
Emergency opening cable
All washing machines, with rare exceptions, have the ability to open the door in an emergency. At the bottom, next to the drainage filter (under the front of the lid), there is a red or yellow cable. By pulling it, you will be able to unlock the door. However, this will not completely solve the problem - the door may become blocked again during the next wash. You need to either disassemble the door or call a technician.
If the cable was not found, you can get to the lock latch. To do this, you need to remove the top cover and call an assistant. He should tilt the car back - the drum should also tilt towards the rear panel, while the second person should find the latch. - On Indesit brand appliances (most often the WISL 82 model), the blinking light of the lock indicates that the washing mode without spinning is on. - Indesit WIUN 102 devices indicate with a “block” indicator that the water supply valve is broken or that there is a problem with the pressure switch and control board. Only a master can unlock a device that has become “moody.”
- Bosch devices of the LOGIXX 8 SENSITIVE model provide a manual mode for emergency opening of the hatch. To unlock, remove the bottom panel of the device and firmly pull the cable located behind it.
- You can disable the lock on the Bosch unit model WAS 20443 by holding down the “stop/pause” button located on the right side of the panel.
- You can unlock the lock on the Bosch MAX 5 washing machine by setting it to the program with which the washing was started. Then, after waiting until the lock indicator lights up continuously, you need to press and hold the “delayed start” button for 5 seconds.
- On Samsung SENSOR COMPACT f015j machines, a breakdown of the electronic unit or wear of the hatch lock manifests itself as a “door” error indication and a stop during the washing process. After a few minutes of standstill, the device can continue operation, but this situation will repeat until the lock is replaced or the wiring fault is eliminated. You should call a specialist.

- In Samsung DIAMOND washing machines, the door does not open if the drain pump is not working correctly. To gain access to the laundry, you will have to drain the water manually and wait a few minutes, then hold down the “start/start” button for a long time.
