Roskachestvo, together with ICRT (International Consumer Research and Testing), presented the results of international research on dishwashers.

The study includes over 90 models from manufacturers Daewoo, Indesit, Bosch, Siemens, Miele, Küppersbusch, Whirlpool, Beko, Candy and Electrolux.

For the study, experts stained thousands of items, ran over a hundred rounds of washing and drying, and assessed the results using 60 indicators.

Dishwasher test

The models were tested in twenty areas, including the quality of washing and drying dishes, noise level, operating time, functionality, energy consumption and water consumption.

Each model was tested in two programs: the main one and the ECO (economical) program.

For the study, experts loaded each model with a “mountain” of dirty dishes: a set for six people, consisting of deep, small and dessert plates, cups, glasses and wine glasses, 12 sets of cutlery, salad bowls and bowls – 96 items in total.

Price plays a role

This study confirmed the dependence of the quality of the dishwasher on the price.

“Dishwashers in the economy segment wash dishes worse than premium appliances. At the same time, dishwashers with relatively low prices spend on average 35% less energy and water resources. If we talk about the leaders of the rating, cars costing from 50 thousand rubles received the highest score. It is noteworthy that the difference between a car costing one hundred thousand and one costing fifty thousand is less than 0.1 points,” said Maria Sapuntsova, deputy head of Roskachestvo.

What is the difference?
