  we fix the coupling - this part consists of two halves, which are used to compress the water supply pipe in a predetermined place, after which they are tightened with bolts to ensure the strength of the connection;

• a hole in the pipe is drilled through a special threaded hole in one of the coupling halves, and then a ball valve is screwed into it;
• connect the washing machine inlet hose to the tap.

To avoid leaks, all connections must be additionally coated with a special sealant.

Using fitting

If the water supply pipes in the house are made of metal-plastic, a fitting is used to connect the inlet hose of the washing machine to them.

Algorithm of actions:

• in a predetermined section of the water pipe, a piece of plastic is cut out, in place of which a fitting (tee) is inserted;
• connect a ball valve to the fitting, onto which the end of the inlet hose of the washing machine is fixed.

To avoid leaks, all joints are sealed with rubber cuffs.

Regardless of the connection method, it is very important that the pressure in the central water supply pipes at home does not fall below 1 Atm. Only under such conditions can the uninterrupted operation of the washing machine be ensured.
