Installing the bottom cover (if equipped)
When you open the package you will find the bottom cover
1. Lay the machine on its side, unscrew the four legs 2. Install the cover. Then screw the legs back through the lid and four holes. Raise the washing machine.
REMOVAL OF TRANSPORT BOLTS
Shipping bolts are designed to secure the tank inside during transport.
1. Remove the four bolts on the rear panel and remove the rubber seals and plastic stabilizers located inside the machine. 2. Install the plugs included in the kit into the remaining holes.
Attention:
If necessary, to remove rubber seals and plastic stabilizers, remove the back cover by unscrewing the back cover screws. Then replace the cover. Keep the shipping bolts and plastic stabilizers in a safe place for future use.
adjustable legs
There are adjustable feet under the bottom of the washing machine. Before use, they must be adjusted so that the machine is level. This will minimize vibration and noise during use. This will also reduce wear and tear. We recommend using a spirit level to level the instrument. The floor should be as hard as possible and as level as possible.
1. Loosen the lock nut (1) using a wrench. 2. Adjust the height by turning the foot (2). 3. Tighten the lock nut (1) to the housing.
Inlet hose
✓Connect the inlet hose to the inlet valve ✓Connect the hose to the cold water tap ✓Check for leaks.

Custom machine settings
The first switching on of a new washing machine is carried out with an empty drum and with the choice of any long program from the available ones. Afterwards, you will have to select washing modes, focusing on the intensity of soiling of the laundry and the type of fabric from which the product is made.
The parameters of each washing program are described in detail in the instructions for the Haier automatic washing machine.
Also, the housewife may be confused by additional buttons on the control panel and unclear symbols. Explanation of all symbols is in the user manual. The book explains what the indicators on the dashboard do, what functions and options are hidden behind the drawn icons.
For example, when you just need to freshen up purchased T-shirts, you can select the quick wash function. If clothes made of mixed or synthetic fibers are placed in the drum, it is possible to run the “Synthetic” mode.
When you need to clean your baby’s clothes, you should activate the program of the same name and enable the “Double Rinse” option.
You should choose the washing mode very carefully. If you wash wool on the “Cotton” program, you will not be able to avoid the product losing its shape - the item will “shrink”.
For demanding and delicate fabrics, special, gentle cleaning parameters are provided; for durable and dense materials, completely different conditions are provided. When the washer finishes working, you need to wait a couple of minutes and only then take the clothes out of the drum. Just during this time the hatch will unlock.

Washing methods
This washing machine is intended for domestic use only. If the machine is used for commercial purposes or other non-domestic household purposes, the warranty will be void. Do not use the machine for purposes other than those for which it was designed. Follow the instructions on each item's label and only wash clothes that are machine washable.
POWER SUPPLY
Connect the washing machine to a power source (220 V - 240 V~/50 Hz).
WATER CONNECTION
Open the tap. The water should be clean and transparent.
Before use, make sure there are no leaks by opening the tap.
PREPARING THE LINEN
— Sort clothes depending on the composition of the fabrics (cotton, synthetics, wool or silk), as well as the degree of contamination. - Separate white linen from colored linen. Wash colored items by hand first to determine if they will discolour. — Empty pockets (hairpins, coins, keys, etc.) and remove heavier decorative items (brooches).
Unhemmed garments, delicate fabrics and finely woven fabrics such as thin curtains should be placed in a special washing bag (it is best not to wash them in the washing machine). Fasten the zippers and hooks, make sure the buttons are sewn firmly; Place small items such as socks, belts, bras, etc. into a washing bag. Larger items such as sheets, bedspreads, etc. must be unrolled before loading. Shirts should be turned inside out.
Caution: Non-woven items, as well as small, loose and sharp objects can cause malfunction and damage to clothing and the machine. Remove small items (keys, coins, etc.) and hard jewelry (such as brooches) from your pockets.
A few words about the manufacturer
Haier was founded in 1984 in China. The manufacturer does not specialize in one thing, producing a variety of household appliances. The origins of the brand go back to the 20s of the last century. At that time the company was called Qingdao Refrigerator Factory.
The new brand arose as a result of the transfer of production to a new owner. The name Haier translates as “sea”, which symbolizes the company’s wide range of products.
The company introduced its products to the world market in 1999. The equipment became available for the CIS countries and the Russian Federation in 2007. Now the concern is one of the three largest manufacturers.
The brand's factories are open in Malaysia, China, the USA, Jordan, Indonesia and the Philippines. About five production facilities operate on the African continent.
In addition, the company has its own research and scientific centers located in Asia and Europe. The company also has its own production in the Russian Federation. In 2016, a large plant was opened in Naberezhnye Chelny.
Washing machines produced by the company are in demand all over the world. The product benefits from both reliability and functionality. It is not surprising that the technology has become widespread in 160 countries.
SELECTION OF DETERGENT FOR WASHING MACHINE Haier HW60-BP12758S HW70-BP12758S
The efficiency and productivity of washing are determined by the quality of the detergent used. A special product for automatic washing machines without foaming gives good washing results. Special detergents should be used for synthetics and woolen items. Do not use dry cleaning agents such as trichlorethylene or similar substances.
Do not add more detergent than necessary; otherwise, it may result in one of the following situations and damage to the washing machine, which will affect the service life of the machine.
1. Due to excessive foaming, the rinsing time will be longer than usual. 2. Foam may overflow from the detergent dispenser due to increased foam pressure. 3. Foam may not be washed away after the final spin.
Recommendations:
1. Wash the detergent tray once a week. 2. It is necessary to follow the detergent dosage recommendations on the powder or liquid detergent packaging.
ADDING WASHING MACHINE DETERGENT Haier HW60-BP12758 HW70-BP12758 HW70-BP12758 HW60-BP12758S HW70-BP12758S
Pull out the detergent container and load detergent into the appropriate compartments. Carefully close the detergent drawer. (Follow instructions on tray)
Do not overuse conditioner; otherwise it may damage the artificial fibers.
Why do you need to clean the washing machine drum?
The drum, when dealing with dirty laundry, becomes dirty over time. In washing machines without automatic cleaning, you have to do it yourself. To do this, pour bleach, vinegar, citric acid into the machine, add soda or other cleaning and disinfectants.
Thanks to treatment with cleaning agents, the drum gets rid of dirt, bacteria, mold, scale, unpleasant odors and soap deposits. If you don’t clean the “inside” of the machine in time, a putrid smell will emanate from it, and washed items will also smell like it.
If you neglect the cleanliness of the SMA, it will fail prematurely. If you bought a model with Eco, you don’t have to use special cleaning products or run the washing machine empty - the device will take care of its cleanliness.
CLEANING THE DETERGENT TRAY Haier HW60-BP12758S HW70-BP12758S
Clean the detergent dispenser tray regularly. Pull out the tray, rinse it clean with water and replace it.
Clean the filter once a month:
Clean the filter once a month:
1. Turn off the machine and disconnect it from the power supply (Fig. 1). 2. Open the filter cover on the front right corner of the machine (Fig. 2). 3. Place a flat container under it to drain the remaining water (Fig. 3). There can be a lot of it! 4. Pull the drain pipe out and hold its end over the container (Fig. 3). 5. Remove the plug from the drain pipe (Fig. 3). 6. After complete drainage, close the drain hose and insert it back into the machine (Fig. 4). 7. Unscrew and remove the pump filter by rotating it counterclockwise (Fig. 5). 8. Remove foreign objects and dirt (Fig. 6). 9. Clean the pump filter thoroughly, for example, under running water (Fig.7). 10. Reinstall the filter (Fig. 8). 11. Close the filter cover.
The filter must be installed in place, otherwise it may cause water leakage. Place a container under the drain pump filter to collect any excess water that may leak from the pump.
NOTE. For regular maintenance, we recommend running the Self-Cleaning program without loading once every three months to remove possible deposits. Add a small amount of detergent or use a special washing machine cleaner (follow the instructions for this product).
In case of a power outage
The current program and setting are saved. Once the power supply is restored, the operation resumes. If a power failure interrupts the wash program, the machine door is mechanically locked. It is not easy to see the water level in the machine through the door. Risk of burns and water leakage! Do not pull the door handle until the door is unlocked.
FILLING VALVE AND FILLING FILTER
To prevent foreign materials from clogging the valve and stopping water flow, the fill valve filter should be cleaned regularly.
MOVING THE MACHINE Haier HW60-BP12758 HW70-BP12758 HW70-BP12758 HW60-BP12758S HW70-BP12758S
If the machine needs to be transported to another location, the shipping bolts that were removed during installation should be installed to avoid damage. Follow the instructions below.
1. Remove the plugs. 2. Install plastic stabilizers, rubber bushings and shipping bolts. 3. Tighten the bolts with a screwdriver (wrench).
LONG DOWNTIME
If the washing machine is left unused for an extended period of time, unplug the power cord and turn off the water supply. Open the washing machine door to prevent moisture and odors from forming. Leave the car door open for the entire period of inactivity.
Conclusions and useful video on the topic
The video explains the rules for choosing a washing machine:
Haier household appliances are modern high-tech products. The machines are quite reliable, efficient and simply wash well. Although there are some drawbacks such as poor-quality rinsing and lack of display in certain models.
But these are infrequent cases, mainly inherent in the cheapest units. Therefore, these disadvantages do not affect the demand for Haier washing machines among buyers from all over the world.
