Add detergent

Choosing the right mode is only half the success. The second lies in the detergent. It is important to select and add the powder correctly, otherwise the laundry will not be washed or, on the contrary, will remain soapy. A few tips will help you avoid mistakes:

choose natural compositions, preferably gel ones;
dose the product correctly, following the instructions for the powder;
use measuring spoons and caps;
Do not confuse the powder receptacle compartments.

The last point is among the most important. The fact is that most Gorenje washing machines have a dispenser with three compartments. The left one is for the main wash, the far right is for the preliminary wash. Only liquid additional products, conditioners, rinses and softeners are poured into the central cuvette. If you mix up the compartments, the quality of the wash will suffer greatly.

Use the machine carefully

Modern washing machines attract with simple and intuitive controls. Gorenje is no exception - just reading the instructions is enough to understand the principle of its operation. But in order for the machine to serve for a long time and trouble-free, it is necessary not only to be able to turn on the system, but also to properly care for the equipment. So, it is recommended to follow a few basic rules.

Monitor the weight of the laundry placed in the drum (each washing machine has both a maximum and minimum permissible loading weight).
Wipe the Gorenje body, as well as the hatch cuff and drum after each use.
After washing, leave the hatch door and tray open for natural drying.
Do not store objects, especially heavy ones, on the lid.
Do not adjust the settings after starting the wash - the electronics may freeze.
Measure the hardness of your tap water and use softeners if necessary.

With a washing machine from Gorenje you can make your life much easier, getting clean clothes without any effort. The main thing is to operate the machine correctly, do not overload, do not confuse the modes, clean it regularly and use only high-quality detergents.

But if any high-temperature program was turned on the first time, then the second time you should take a more serious approach to choosing a mode. When searching for a suitable button, you need to focus on the type and color of the laundry, as well as the degree of soiling of the fabrics.

Modern Gorenjes offer the user a wide range of software: dozens of basic and unique modes. However, beginners are easily lost among the abundance of buttons and lights on the dashboard. Meanwhile, deciphering the designations is very simple - just open the corresponding section of the factory instructions and study the functionality offered by the machine. To start washing clothes, proceed as follows:

insert the power cord from Gorenje into the socket;
turn the water tap;
put pre-sorted laundry into the drum (remember the minimum and maximum load weight);
close the hatch tightly;
open the powder receptacle and add detergent (we will describe in detail below where and how much);
press the “On” button;
scroll the programmer to the desired program;
We start the cycle by clicking on “Start/Pause”.

All! All you have to do is wait for the machine to complete the cycle, signaling the end of the program with a sound signal. But even after the melody, do not rush to open the hatch immediately - the electronic locking is removed only after 3-5 minutes.

• Level the machine by rotating the adjustable feet. Legs

allow you to level the device by +/- 1cm. After adjusting the height of the legs, screw the nuts (A) tightly to the bottom of the device!

Vibration, movement and loud operation of the device

Due to incorrectly adjusted feet, they are not subject to warranty.

The floor on which the device stands must have

concrete base, be dry and clean to prevent the device from slipping. The base of the adjustable feet should also be cleaned.

• If the dimensions of the dryer and washing machine

allow, you can install devices in a column.

For uninterrupted operation of the device, pressure

water in the water supply network should be within 0.05 - 0.8 MPa.

The minimum water pressure can be determined by

measuring the amount of water flowing out. In 15 seconds, 3 liters of water should flow out of a fully open tap.

• Remove the inlet hose from the drum, screw it

inlet hose holder (1) for the washing machine (only on some models).

• (2) Inlet hose nut B, insert the seal with

mesh and screw the hose to the water tap. (On some models, the mesh seal is already installed, so installing the seal in the inlet hose nut is not necessary.)

• If your model is equipped with hot and cold connections

cold water, connect one pipe to cold water, the other to hot water, in accordance with the markings on the back of the device. The letters C and N are depicted on the back wall of the device.

It is not recommended to immediately install a newly delivered washing machine. First you need to let the technique “settle”, leaving it alone for 2-3 hours at room temperature. Especially if transportation was carried out during the cold season. After the measured time, you can move the machine to its intended place and begin connecting to communications. When installing Gorenje yourself, be sure to read the instructions. It describes in detail the entire process of installing the machine, provides tips and visual examples. It’s better not to be lazy, but to spend 2-3 hours “getting used to” the washing machine by studying the technical documentation.

The instructions clearly state that the first step is to remove the shipping bolts. They are mandatory when transporting equipment, as they fix the tank in a stationary position, protecting the tank itself, adjacent parts and the shock absorption system. But it is forbidden to start a cycle with them - the engine will try to spin the attached drum. As a result, the cylinder, the motor, the shaft, and other structural elements will suffer. By the way, such damage is considered non-warranty, and the inattentive user pays for repairs.

It is easy to remove the transport bolts: just follow the algorithm from the instructions. Using pliers, remove the upper part from each fastener, after which the rods are deepened into the body, and the remaining holes are tightly closed with the plugs included in the kit.

Connection to communications begins with the installation of power supply. It is better to plan this point when choosing a location, so that there is a maximum distance of 1.5 m from the washing machine to the nearest outlet. This is the length of the power cord provided on most Gorenje machines. Remember that the manufacturer strongly does not recommend using extension cords - it is unsafe for both the user and the equipment.

Particular attention is paid to the outlet itself. This must be a separate electrical point with a voltage of 220V and grounding. Ideally, it is necessary to conduct separate wiring with conductors corresponding to the power consumption of the machine. If the washing machine is installed in the bathroom, then protection against moisture should be provided.

When setting up a power supply with your own hands, it is important to ground. If you turn on the washing machine without the latter, there will be consequences. At a minimum, a working machine will “prick”, at a maximum – it will give an electric shock if it breaks down on the body. It’s better not to take risks, but to think in advance about protecting family members.
