Washing procedure and program selection

1. When the machine is turned on, cotton is automatically selected.

• Press the “Power” button.

• Press the Start/Hold button

• Initial condition

— Program: cotton — Wash: main wash — Rinse: triple — Rotation: 800 rpm — Water temperature: 40°C

2. Manual selection

• Press the Power button to start.

• Select the optimal conditions for you by turning the rotary dial and pressing each button.

• Press the Start/Hold button.

* To select a specific program, see page 11.

• You can program the wash from 2 to 12 hours, e.g.

Washing duration: 8 hours.

The Daewoo brand produces two types of washing machines - semi-automatic and automatic washing machines. Please, semi-automatic machines deserve the most attention, since it was in them that such a discovery as bubble washing came to life. It seems like there is nothing like that, but everything ingenious is simple. Many people in childhood or now had or still have an aquarium with fish, and to make it easier for the fish to breathe, they threw a small compressor into this aquarium, which produced bubbles and thanks to this the water was enriched with oxygen. Almost the same compressor is in a semi-automatic washing machine - from the Daewoo manufacturer, it stupidly produces air bubbles, in modern terms, it makes a Jacuzzi for our laundry. Why washing improves is not clear to me personally, but one thing is certain - the quality of washing is very high. I talked a little about semi-automatic machines, now we can talk about automatic washing machines. Here, almost everything is the same as everyone else’s, that is, for proper operation, you must adhere to the requirements that the manufacturer prescribes in the instructions for this washing machine. The manual is good, but it still needs to be supplemented with some tips in order for your SMA to last 3-4 years longer

• Separate socket → Many people think that the SM consumes like a light bulb - this is fundamentally not true, do not forget that any SMA has a heating element that draws at least 2 kW, plus the rest of the periphery consumes about 0.5 kW. Now look at the power of the boiler, usually it is no more than 2 kW, so why in almost every house or apartment is there separate wiring with a separate socket connected to the boiler, but no one does this for the washing machine, for me personally this is a mystery
• Citric acid and calgon → Never use such products, they destroy the cross. Understand that the powder itself already contains a washing machine cleaner, and I would not advise you to use something like citric acid
• Extensions and adapters → This crap can only be used if you do not value your equipment. Please understand that the carrier cannot withstand the power of the washing machine.
• Wash at high temperatures → It is advisable to use as little as possible. Scale is not the main reason why I recommend this. To a greater extent, we are talking about the load on the control module and wiring in the washing machine and your household. In addition, if you abuse high temperatures, the heating element will fail much earlier than you expected.
• Spin → Should not exceed 800 rpm. Normal spin starts at 600 rpm, and anything above 800 is already a trick from the manufacturer. If you use a spin over 800 rpm, the bearings will fail faster, that is, you will shorten their service life
• Rubber mat → Be sure to place it under the washing machine, especially if there are ceramic tiles on the floor in the room where the washing machine will be located. Here many will say, why is this necessary, because the SM already has rubber feet - legs with feet, and thanks to the rubber mat, your machine will not move around the room and vibration during spinning will be significantly reduced
• Sunroof glass → It is necessary to wipe, or rather clean, after each wash, this way you will remove the scale that accumulates during washing. If you don’t do this, then after a few years there will no longer be scale on the glass, but sandpaper, which gradually renders the hatch cuff unusable
• At the end of washing → Open the powder container and the loading hatch 3-4 cm, this way the machine will be ventilated and thanks to this there will be no unpleasant odor in it

If you follow these simple tips, your washing machine will last much longer. Believe me, this is all taken from life experience, it’s just that, as a master, willy-nilly I have to communicate with consumers about the use of SMA. Although many say that if the manufacturer has provided a service life of 3 years, then no matter how you take care of it, it is impossible to extend this period - this is not true. 4. After washing, the laundry retains its original appearance. Thanks to a special washing technology, even woolen items do not shrink or pill, and do not require repairs.
5. Less wear and tear. Air bubbles create a barrier between the clothes and the drum, which protects items from wear and tear.

Frequent malfunctions of Daewoo cars

1. Disconnect the SM from the power supply.
2. Remove the top panel from the machine body (cover). It is attached to two bolts on the back of the washer.
3. After unscrewing the bolts, slightly push the panel back, removing it from the machine body.
4. In many models, the sensor is located on the wall of the SM, not far from the top cover.
5. Having found the sensor, remove the pipe from it, which is secured with a clamp - to do this, you will need to loosen this clamp, armed with pliers.
6. Install a new one in place of the old hose. Blow lightly into it.
7. If the contacts are triggered, you will hear a clicking sound. Their number depends only on how many water levels are provided in your SM.
8. Inspect the tubes for damage. If required, they need to be replaced. If the tubes are dirty, simply clean them. If the tubes are stuck, then it is worth changing the sensor itself.

Cleaning the filling system of a Daewoo car

You can clean the water intake system in 2 stages: by washing the water inlet filter and the inlet hose itself. These works are carried out in combination as follows:

• Turn the CM with the back panel towards you or walk around it if the room allows.
• You will see a hose through which water flows into the machine. Take it off.
• You will immediately see a small mesh. Remove and wash it.
• Inspect and clean the inlet hose.
• Reinstall the filter and secure the inlet hose.
• Run a test wash.

If the problem is not solved, then further independent repair consists of replacing the inlet valve of the Deo washing machine.
