Error codes for Kaiser washing machines without display

Error table for machines with LOGIC CONTROL system

AGRs equipped with the LOGIC CONTROL system, and these are models with the TE prefix (for example, W40TlTe), include an LCD display in the design. Errors are displayed on it in the EXX format, where XX is a digital combination.

CombinationCauseHow it manifests itselfWhat to check first
E01There is no signal from the limit switch of the locking mechanism that the hatch is closed.After 15 seconds, combination E01 lights up and the washing stops.Check:
  1. Is the hatch closed?
  2. Integrity of the locking mechanism.
E02The tank takes more than 120 seconds to fill with water.The “ENDE” light blinks and the wash continues. At the end of the washing cycle, the system displays error E02.
  1. The pressure in the water pipes may be reduced.
  2. Blockage of elements of the water inlet system (intake valve, hose).
E03Water drains from the tank longer than the permissible 90 seconds.The “ENDE” lamp blinks, the washing process continues continuously. After the water has drained, the spin cycle takes place at a speed of no more than 400 revolutions per minute. After the end of the washing cycle, the machine shows code E03 on the display. Blockage in the drain system.
E04The pressure switch gave a signal about water overflow. The wash ends early, the drain pump starts, and the display shows error E04. After the sensor transmits a signal that the tank is empty, the drain pump stops working after 90 seconds.

If water is poured into the tank again after the code appears on the display, the pump will start again.

You can understand how to fix the failure based on the causes of the failure:

  1. The water intake valves are blocked in the “ON” position.
  2. During washing, the pressure in the water supply system increased.
  3. Pressostat failure.
  4. Damage to the control unit.
E0510 minutes after the start of water filling, the pressure switch did not signal that the nominal level had been reached.The washing machine interrupts the wash cycle and displays code E05.Resetting errors depends on the reason:
  1. There is no water in the water supply or the pressure is not high enough for washing.
  2. The valve responsible for the water supply has failed.
  3. The pressure switch is broken.
  4. Control module malfunction.
  5. Aqua Spray system malfunction.
E06After 10 minutes of pump operation, the pressure switch did not signal that the tank was already empty.The wash cycle ends prematurely and code E06 lights up.If E06 is displayed on the display, it means:
  1. The drain pump is broken.
  2. The pressure switch is broken.
  3. The drain system is clogged.
  4. The reset valve is blocked in the “ON” position.
E07Leakage inside the housing - to the pan.There is a failure in the washing mode, the display shows code E07. The drainage pump starts and turns off after 90 seconds after the pressure switch transmits a signal that the tank is empty. The cause of the breakdown may be:
  1. Float sensor failure.
  2. Depressurization of the tank.
  3. Violation of the integrity of hoses and pipes, and so on.
E08In the power supply network, the parameters exceeded the permissible limits 190-235V, frequency – 50/60 Hz.Fault code E08 appears both when the washing machine is plugged in and later during washing.Power supply faults must be corrected. Contact an electrician.
E11Broken hatch lock relay.Having given the blocking command, the system issues code E11, stopping the washing cycle.The control module has probably failed.
E21The signal from the tachogenerator indicating the rotation of the electric motor is not detected.The wash ends prematurely and the display shows error E21.More likely:
  1. The electric motor is broken.
  2. The tachogenerator has failed.
  3. The motor thermal switch has opened.
  4. The contacts of the electric motor are broken.
E22The motor starts to rotate without a command.Early completion of the washing mode, displaying code E22.In this case the following occurs:
  1. Damage to the control unit.
  2. Imbalance of laundry in the drum.
E31Thermal sensor is shorted.The washing continues, and after it is finished, the code E31 or E32 lights up.The breakdown lies in the thermistor (t° sensor).
E32Thermal sensor contacts are broken.Temperature sensor contacts and wiring require maintenance.
E42The door does not open after finishing washing for more than 2 minutes.Combination E42 lights up on the display.The failure could be caused by a broken control module.

Failure that caused the code

The first step is to figure out what the combination E07 means. There will be no problems with decoding - just look at the factory instructions and study the list of fault codes. Thus, the “seven” appears when “Aquastop” is activated - the Kaiser hull protection system against leaks. Aquastop works due to three elements:

  • valve installed on the inlet hose;
  • a float placed on the washer tray;
  • sensor connected to the float.

Code E07 indicates a leak or problems with the electronics!

The operating principle of Aquastop is simple. If a leak occurs, the pan begins to fill with water. Along with the liquid level, the float also rises. As soon as the latter is leveled, the sensor detects the danger and sends a corresponding signal to the valve. In response, the valve membrane closes, the water supply is blocked, the running cycle is stopped abnormally, and the machine issues code E07.

In order for the Kaiser washing machine to continue to operate normally, the error must be reset. To do this, you will have to identify and eliminate the malfunction itself. Thus, the following failures and breakdowns can lead to Aquastop operation:

  • damage to the inlet hose;
  • loosening of clamps on the pipes;
  • tank leak;
  • blockage in the powder receptacle;
  • separation of the omentum;
  • leak on the pump;
  • failure of the tank seal due to a damaged cuff.

Error E07 is also displayed if the protective system itself breaks down. More often it is a matter of disconnecting contacts and breaking the circuit. Sometimes the problem is a highly sensitive sensor that reacts to the slightest change in the position of the float. Among the reasons is a failure in the control board. It is possible that the electronic unit is frozen due to damage, a power surge or a technical glitch. To determine what happened, you will have to conduct a comprehensive diagnosis of the machine.

Error E5

In a Kaiser dishwasher, this code indicates a faulty temperature sensor. A malfunction of its operation can occur in the event of a short circuit in the heating elements, in the sensor itself, or in the switching electrical circuits.

To determine the location of the short circuit, it is necessary to check the insulation resistance of all listed elements of the electrical circuit. A megohmmeter is used for this. If a short circuit occurs in any part of the electrical circuit, the device will show a zero insulation resistance value. Depending on the complexity of the insulation failure, it can be restored or individual elements of the electrical circuit replaced.

How not to make a mistake when identifying a defect?

Deciphering this or that error code helps to find almost any malfunction of the Kaiser dishwasher, but you should not rely too much on such a decoding, because in some cases it can only confuse the technician. We are talking about electronic defects, namely the control board of the Kaiser dishwasher and the firmware. One or another firmware failure in half of the cases negatively affects the operation of the self-diagnosis system. It begins to spontaneously issue different error codes without any reason, forcing the user to disassemble the machine and look for breakdowns where there are none.

Some error codes are so extensive that they do not identify a specific defect, but only a possible range of defects that you should pay attention to, first of all, when searching for a problem. Therefore, be extremely careful and do not trust the decryptions 100%, but you must use them, otherwise the search for the problem will be significantly delayed.

Some models of Kaiser dishwashers have a special self-diagnosis system with an expanded package of error codes.

Error E2

An error warns that the filling time has been exceeded. This failure can occur for the following reasons:

  • low pressure in the water supply network;
  • the solenoid valve is damaged;
  • The intake hose is dirty or the filter device is clogged.

To repair damage to your Kaiser dishwasher, do the following:

  1. check the pressure in the water supply system. Maybe it has dropped to a critical value or the water supply has stopped;
  2. check the functionality of the shut-off valve. Maybe it's just closed;
  3. check the electronic circuit of the filling valve;
  4. disconnect the filling hose from the PMM and clean it. Inspect the cleaning filter, and if it is clogged, clean or replace it.

Error E1

The error indicates a faulty door lock. The control circuit of the blocking device does not receive a signal to activate it. The absence of a signal may be due to the following reasons:

  • The loading hopper door is not completely closed;
  • the locking lock or sensor is damaged;
  • There is a malfunction in the electrical control circuit of the locking device.

To resolve the error, it is recommended to do the following:

  1. check that the door is closed tightly;
  2. check the functionality of the locking lock. If necessary, it must be replaced;
  3. Check the electrical circuit for controlling the locking device. Pay attention to the presence of electrical connection between the board and the blocking actuator. If necessary, the cable is replaced.

User Actions

If error E07 appears on the display, then you cannot hesitate - you must immediately stop the running program and drain the water from the machine. It is important that the machine is completely empty, so it is recommended to unscrew the garbage filter or use the emergency drain hose. Kaiser then disconnects from communications and diagnostics begin.

The check begins with the pallet. You need to find out immediately whether there was a leak. If the bottom is dry, then error E07 was displayed due to the fault of the control board or the Aquastop itself. We immediately inspect the wiring connected to the sensor and assess the integrity of the circuit. Is everything okay on the outside? Then we contact the service for electronics diagnostics. If there is water, we look for a leak. If there is a leak, then it is necessary to check the integrity of the key elements of the Kaiser filling and drain systems. The instructions on what to do are as follows:

  • inspect the inlet hose for cracks;
  • check the pipes for leaks;
  • get to the pump and assess its integrity;
  • palpate the cuff for cracks;
  • Pull out the dispenser and inspect for blockages and overflow.

The nature of the repair will depend on the problem found. The cracked hose and cuff are replaced with new ones, the pipes are tightened with clamps, and the dispensary is cleared of blockages. It is impossible to fix a leaking pump with your own hands - only replacement. Diagnostics continues by removing the rear panel. We unscrew the wall and inspect the back of the tank. If rusty smudges are noticeable, then the problem is a worn out oil seal. To correct the situation, you will have to disassemble the Kaiser and repair the bearing assembly.

Before diagnosing and repairing the Kaiser washing machine, you must turn off the power!

Is there any rust? Then we go over the surface of the tank with a dry cloth. Our task is to check whether the tank is leaking. If drops of water are noticed on the plastic, then a breakdown has been found. In this case, DIY repairs will become more complicated, since you will have to remove the container and carefully treat it with sealant. You can deal with error E07 on your own by sequentially checking all possible leak locations. But if the pan is dry and there are no problems with the sensor, then it is better to contact a service center for electronics diagnostics.
