If we talk about electricity, this parameter is closely related to the previous one: the more water is used, the more electricity is consumed. Thus, an economical machine with a water consumption of 8 liters usually consumes about 0.62 kW. If the consumption is higher - from 13 liters, then more energy is used - within 0.8 kW.

Important parameters when choosing a dishwasher are: energy consumption, washing and drying classes, as well as water consumption indicators.

Energy classes
The energy consumption class (or energy efficiency) determines how economical the device’s power consumption will be.
There are only 7 of them: AG. But they mainly buy and sell cars of classes A-C, they are more economical.
And the most economical equipment is PMM with assigned classes A +, A++, A+++. They are more expensive than others, but they pay for themselves when used.
A-class appliances consume on average from 0.8 to 1.05 kW per washing cycle, B-class - from 1.06 to 1.09 kW, and C-class - from 1.1 to 1.49 kW.
You can use power more efficiently if you purchase a machine with a partial load function. This will help reduce expenses by 20-30%. This type of loading also saves water.
Water consumption
Water consumption is also a concern for dishwasher buyers for obvious reasons. However, fears are in vain: any “dishwasher” spends much less water when washing than it would be spent manually washing the same amount of dishes.
Water consumption is also marked with classes AG, but low classes may not be found on sale.
According to consumption categories, PMMs are economical (up to 14-15 liters per cycle), medium-economical (up to 17-20 liters) and uneconomical (more than 20-25 liters).
Economical consumption depends not only on the model and characteristics of the PMM, but also on its capacity. Compact tabletop models consume only up to 9 liters of water, narrow ones - about 10, full-size ones - about 14.
Washing class
This criterion determines the degree of cleanliness of the dishes leaving the PMM, as well as how successfully the machine copes with heavy contamination.
Marked with the English letters AG. But only classes A and B can be found on sale; lower ones are almost never produced.
Class A machines wash dishes perfectly, while B-class machines leave minor stains with a total area of approximately 4 mm.

Drying class
