I met BioMio about six months ago, when their products had just entered the market, and they sent me a couple to review. Since then, my BioMio obsession has grown and reached the proportions shown in the photo =). I think now the opinion has matured, and it’s time to talk about these products under the “HOME” section.
So, the post will talk about: BioMio Bio-Care Eco-friendly detergents for washing dishes, vegetables and fruits Verbena and Unscented; BioMio Bio-White Eco-friendly washing powder for white laundry; BioMio Bio-Color Eco-friendly washing powder for colored laundry; BioMio Bio-Total Eco-friendly 7-in-1 dishwasher tablets; BioMio Bio-Soft Eco-friendly fabric conditioner Cinnamon and Eucalyptus.

Actually, the photo above is what the brand sent me, and everything else was bought by me, some of which have already run out.
BioMio is one of the Splat brands, i.e. Russian, although production is in Denmark. Honestly, I didn’t understand why and why it was there - I would prefer our production, although the dishwashing liquid says that it is produced in the Russian Federation.
BioMio positions itself as environmentally friendly laundry and cleaning products under the slogan “cleaning is a pleasure” and does not contain: phosphates, aggressive surfactants, SLS/SLES, chlorine, EDTA, petrochemical dyes, artificial flavors. And all this is probably very good, but it did not become the main thing for me.
And the main thing was the aromas! All the products smell gentle and pleasant, the smell makes my eyes pop, I don’t want to quickly throw away all this nasty stuff and angrily sum it up – “chemistry” =). This has become a definite salvation for me - I can’t stand the classic scents of house cleaning products - from all these alpine freshness, lemons, etc.
just turns back. And I felt so bad from the usual household chemical scents that I already went to iHerb to choose a replacement, and then BioMio came out - can you imagine my joy? =). As soon as I tried everything once, I ran to the store for “supplements” =). By the way, BioMio does not belong to organics, but is closer to them than, for example, Fairy.
Of the minuses: cost - BioMio is significantly more expensive than its brothers on the shelf, while I’m getting used to it and trying to buy on shares and “for future use”.
In the title photo there is just a one-year supply for a family of three, purchased at discounted promotions =). And the second disadvantage is inaccessibility, there seem to be many places of sale on the lists, but in fact there are few.
Now we buy it at Perekrestok, but not everywhere there is a full range, etc.
Well, I show the compositions - very ascetic. Because in general, the compositions do not change much due to “taste”; I gave one example from each category.
1. BioMio Bio-Total Eco-friendly 7-in-1 dishwasher tablets with BioMio eucalyptus essential oil.
I liked the dishwasher tablets, like everything else - when you open the car after a wash cycle, it doesn’t smell like a mixture of lemon and hot water, the dishes don’t smell either - they’re clean and “squeaky” =).
I read that they wash away worse than tablets, which contain a lot of polycarboxylates, but I didn’t notice. Now I did not have a full-size pack, so they are not in the general photo. I'm waiting for them to appear on sale, and I'll take a few packages, because...
the price without a discount is really depressing.

The brand has two types of dry powders - for colored items and for white, both versions are fragrance-free - thanks again to the brand for this! Like most “scentless” products, there is still a slight aroma - it’s powdery, not very cool, but fortunately things don’t smell afterwards. It removes powder no better and no worse than its “smelly” brothers, for example I can cite Persil, Ariel and Doshu - that’s exactly the same, in my opinion. BioMio also has a liquid powder for delicate fabrics, but I haven’t even seen it for sale offline.

4.5. BioMio Bio-Soft Eco-friendly fabric conditioner with cinnamon and cotton essential oil, BioMio Bio-Soft Eco-friendly fabric conditioner with eucalyptus and cotton essential oil.
The fabric softener comes in two versions - cinnamon and eucalyptus. The first one has a soft and sweetish confectionery aroma of cinnamon, and for some reason eucalyptus reminds me of mint chewing gum =). I also like both scents, and they are quite weak and barely noticeable if you smell things. The action also seemed most ordinary.

6.7. BioMio Bio-Care Eco-friendly detergents for washing dishes, vegetables and fruits Verbena and BioMio Bio-Care Eco-friendly detergents for washing dishes, vegetables and fruits Verbena Odorless.
Dishwashing detergents are my special love, because... It is directly written on them that they are suitable for vegetables and fruits. I have been washing vegetables and fruits with liquid for a long time, but for some reason everyone is surprised and makes round eyes for 5 rubles =).
I don’t see anything strange in this, and now there is also a special remedy - thank you, BioMio ^^! Because
The dishes are mostly washed by a machine, these liquids are consumed extremely slowly, and I want to try other “flavors”: the brand has 7 of them in total - verbena, tangerine, geranium, lavender, mint, rosewood and unscented.
My “unscented” smells like something bee-fruity - reminiscent of some Melvita products, and I also had some other cosmetics with that smell. Verbena smells like a mixture of citrus and flowers - yes, it is reminiscent of L'occitane, but it is far from the same thing. And in terms of price, these products are the most budget-friendly of the entire range ;).

This is a journey to the land of my favorite household chemicals, BioMio =). I won’t say that they are the best, etc., because... I haven’t tried other eco- and bio-brands, but my first experience left only positive emotions.

Would it be confusing to see any of these ingredients in a product that the manufacturer advertises as being eco-friendly? Yes and no. Indeed, the table does not contain substances with proven toxicity and prohibited by other countries for use in environmental detergents.
However, it is not clear which oxygen bleaching agent is used - percarbonate, perborate or sodium perphosphate? These salts are considered harmless to humans, but, according to some data, sodium perborate has a detrimental effect on plants that may come into contact with it after entering the environment. Agree, such an impact is poorly associated with a product from the eco-line.
At first glance, the composition is impeccable and really has every right to be called safe, but some points still raise doubts
Questions also arise about the quantity and origin of nonionic surfactants and enzymes. In addition, allergy sufferers and people with a sensitive sense of smell may not like the presence of eucalyptus essential oil in BioMio tablets, known for its pronounced aroma. But, probably, this is already nit-picking, and judging by the reviews that belong to real consumers, the product has every right to exist.

We have no right to remain silent about the disadvantages, so check out the main disadvantages (fortunately, there is only one): capsules are not able to overcome fatty contaminants, which is most likely due to the low concentration of enzymes.
Important! Tablets of this brand may leave light streaks on glass items - wine glasses, glasses, plates. To neutralize unpleasant consequences, choose the extra rinse option.

Due to the danger of strong and irreversible oxidation of aluminum, gold, silver and other metals (except stainless steel), it is strictly not recommended to wash items made of precious and semi-precious metals in the dishwasher.
The manufacturer also honestly warns that for regions with hard water, the result of washing alone, even with multifunctional tablets, will be unsatisfactory, and special salt and rinse aid must be added to the dishwasher.

The company's production facilities are located in the Novgorod region. About 20% of products are supplied to foreign markets.
