Instructions and manual for Indesit WISL-105-(CIS) in Russian

Unpacking and alignment

Unboxing

1. Unpack the Indesit WISL 105 washing machine.

2. Make sure that the equipment has not been damaged during transportation. If damage is found - do not connect the machine - contact the supplier immediately.

3. Remove the four shipping screws and rubber plugs with gaskets located at the rear of the Indesit WISL 105 washing machine (see figure).

4. Seal the holes with the supplied plastic plugs.

5. Save all parts: you will need them for subsequent transportation of the Indesit WISL 105 washing machine.

! Do not allow children to play with packaging materials.

Leveling 1. Place the Indesit WISL 105 washing machine on a level and solid floor so that it does not touch walls, furniture or other objects.

2. Once the machine is in place, adjust its stability by rotating the front feet (see illustration). To do this, first loosen the lock nut, and after completing the adjustment, tighten the lock nut. After installing the machine in place, check the level of the top cover of the housing; the horizontal deviation should be no more than 2°.

Proper equipment alignment will help avoid noise, vibration and movement while the machine is operating. If the Indesit WISL 105 washing machine is placed on a carpeted floor, make sure that its base is raised above the carpet. Otherwise, ventilation will be difficult or completely impossible.

Flaws

Also among the reviews you can find negative impressions:

  • The washing machine is very noisy, especially during the spin cycle.
  • The instructions for Indesit WISL 105 do not indicate the noise level; users discover this drawback only after purchase and launch.
  • Expensive repairs.
  • Often you come across specimens that do not heat the water. In this case, users return the washing machine.
  • Difficult to get powder container.
  • Many customers, after returning the device to the store, chose a more expensive model from another brand.

We can say that the Indesit WISL 105 washing machine belongs to the economy class models. It reliably serves users from 8 to 12 years, and after a breakdown, people prefer a new device.

Connection to water supply and electrical network

Connecting the inlet hose.

1. Insert gasket A into the end of the inlet hose and screw it onto the cold water outlet with a 3/4 inch threaded hole (see illustration).

Before connecting, open the water tap and allow dirty water to drain.

2. Connect the inlet hose to the Indesit WISL 105 washing machine by screwing it onto the water inlet located in the rear upper right part (see figure).

3. Make sure the hose is not kinked or pinched.

! The water pressure must be within the values indicated in the Technical Specifications table (see above).

! If the water hose is not long enough, contact an Authorized Service Center.

Connecting the drain hose

Hang the bent end of the drain hose on the edge of a sink, bathtub, or place it in a special sewer outlet. The hose must not be kinked. The top point of the drain hose should be at a height of 65-100 cm from the floor. The location of the drain hose should ensure that the stream breaks when draining (the end of the hose should not be lowered into the water). In case of mounting on the edge of a bathtub or sink, the hose is hung using a guide (included in delivery), which is attached to the faucet (Fig.).

! The use of extensions for the drain hose is not recommended; if necessary, it can be extended with a hose of the same diameter and a length of no more than 150 cm.

Electrical connection.

Attention! The equipment must be grounded!

1. The machine is connected to the electrical network using a two-pole socket with a grounding contact (the socket is not supplied with the machine). The phase wire must be connected through a circuit breaker designed for a maximum current (operation current) of 16 A, and with an operation time of no more than 0.1 s.

2. If there is a socket with a grounding contact near the intended installation site of the machine, which has a three-wire cable connection with copper conductors with a cross-section of at least 1.5 square meters. mm (or aluminum conductors with a cross-section of at least 2.5 sq. mm), the electrical network is not modified. If the specified socket and wiring are missing, they must be installed.

3. Laying grounding with a separate wire is not allowed.

4. To modify the electrical network, it is recommended to use wire type PPV 3x1.5 380 GOST 6223-79. It is allowed to use other brands of cable that ensure fire and electrical safety during operation of the machine. Before connecting the machine to the network, make sure that:

• the socket and wiring comply with the requirements set out in this section of the instructions;

•voltage and frequency of the network current correspond to the machine data;

•socket and plug of the same type;

•The outlet is grounded in accordance with the safety standards described in this section of the instructions. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, it must be replaced with a new one that matches the outlet, or the power cable must be replaced. Cable replacement should only be carried out by qualified personnel. The use of adapters, double or more sockets and extension cords is prohibited (they create a fire hazard). If you consider their use necessary, use only one extension cord that meets safety requirements. Equipment connected in violation of the safety requirements for high-power household appliances set out in this manual is potentially dangerous.

The manufacturer is not responsible for damage to health or property if it is caused by failure to comply with the specified installation standards.

The cycle times shown on the display or stated in the instructions are estimates based on standard conditions. Actual duration may vary depending on numerous factors such as supply water temperature and pressure, room temperature, amount of detergent, amount and type of laundry loaded, laundry balancing, and optional features selected.

Note “Water stop”: see additional function “Easy ironing” on page. above. The data in the table is for reference and may vary depending on the specific washing conditions (wash volume, water temperature in the water supply system, room temperature, etc.). The special program Everyday wash 30' min (program 9 for Synthetic fabrics) is designed for quick washing of lightly soiled laundry: the cycle lasts only 30 minutes, which saves time and energy. By setting this program (9 at 30°C), you can wash different types of fabrics together (except wool and silk) with a maximum load of 3 kg. We recommend using liquid detergent.

Warnings and recommendations.

! The Indesit WISL 105 washing machine is designed and manufactured in accordance with international safety standards. Please read these warnings carefully for your safety.

General safety rules

• After using the machine, be sure to unplug it from the AC outlet and turn off the water tap.

• For home use. This product is a household appliance and is not intended for professional use. Do not modify its functions.

• The Indesit WISL 105 washing machine must only be used by adults who follow the instructions given in this manual.

• Do not pull on the power cord to remove the plug from the socket; grasp the plug.

• Do not open the detergent dispenser while the machine is running.

• Do not touch the drained water; its temperature may be very high.

• When the machine is stopped, the door lock unlocks with a three-minute delay. Do not try to open the door during this period of time (and especially while the equipment is operating!): this may damage the locking mechanism.

• In the event of a malfunction, under any circumstances, do not touch the inside of the machine in an attempt to repair it.

• Keep children away from the Indesit WISL 105 washing machine while it is running.

• During the washing process, the door of the Indesit WISL 105 washing machine may become hot.

• If you need to move the Indesit WISL 105 washing machine, perform this operation with two or three people with extreme caution. Never try to lift a machine alone - the equipment is extremely heavy.

• Before placing laundry in the Indesit WISL 105 washing machine, make sure that the drum is empty.

• The Indesit WISL 105 washing machine is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been supervised or instructed how to use the appliance by a person responsible for their care. safety. Children must be supervised to prevent them from playing with the Indesit WISL 105 washing machine. Disposal

• Disposal of packaging material: Follow applicable regulations for the disposal of packaging materials.

• Disposal of an old Indesit WISL 105 washing machine: before disposing of the machine, cut the power cable and remove the door.

Energy saving and environmental protection Eco-friendly technology With the new Indesit technology, you will spend half as much water, and the washing effect will be twice as high! That's why you can't see the water through the door: there's very little of it. This is caring for the environment without sacrificing maximum cleanliness. And on top of that, you save electricity.

Saving detergents, water, electricity and time

• To save resources, you should load the Indesit WISL 105 washing machine as much as possible. One wash cycle with a full load instead of two cycles with a half-loaded drum can save up to 50% of energy.

• The prewash cycle is only necessary for very dirty laundry. The prewash cycle uses more detergent, time, water and 5 to 15% more electricity.

• Treating stains with stain remover or soaking your laundry before washing will help avoid washing at high temperatures. Using a wash program at 60°C instead of 90°C, or 40°C instead of 60°C, saves up to 50% energy.

• The correct dosage of washing powder, depending on the hardness of the water, the degree of soiling and the volume of laundry loaded, helps to avoid wastage of detergent and environmental pollution: although washing powders are biodegradable, they contain substances that negatively affect the environment. Also, avoid using mouthwash if possible.

• Using the Indesit WISL 105 washing machine in the morning or evening will reduce the peak load on the power grid.

• If laundry is to be dried in the automatic dryer, select a higher spin speed. Intensive spin will save time and energy during automatic drying.

Cutting off water and electricity

• Turn off the water tap after each wash. This reduces wear on the plumbing system of the Indesit WISL 105 washing machine and eliminates the possibility of leaks.

• Always remove the plug from the outlet before washing or servicing the machine.

Caring for the Indesit WISL 105 washing machine

Clean the exterior and rubber parts of the machine with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.

Maintaining the detergent dispenser

Rinse the detergent dispenser periodically. Remove the dispenser by lifting and pulling it towards you (see figure) and rinse under running water.
