Cleaning the detergent dispenser
These parts can be completely removed from the machine body, washed in a soapy solution using a sponge and put back in place.
Loading door
I usually wipe the door with wet wipes, but this can also be done with a sponge and a solution of non-aggressive detergent.
Machine body
For internal cleaning of the machine, it has an “auto-cleaning” program. After adding detergent to the dispenser, select this program and press the “Start” button. External parts of the case are also washed with soapy water.
Cleaning filters
The package includes a self-cleaning pump, but you need to periodically remove large particles from it that accidentally fall into the laundry drum.
Draining the remaining water and cleaning the pump filter
To drain, select the “Drain Only” program, and all remaining water will flow out.
Wash
Launch
The first time you need to start the machine without laundry, but with washing powder, using the auto cleaning program. Any non-foaming detergent that new owners of the washing machine are accustomed to using will be suitable for this. I had a children's "Stork".
Preparing laundry for washing
Sorting laundry by type
I sort laundry according to different criteria, the main ones being color (colored, black and light), whether it belongs to adults or children, and sometimes I sort it according to the degree of soiling.
Correct loading volume
Although the indesit bwsa 61051 washing machine is relatively narrow, it can hold 6 kg of laundry. At the same time, not reporting a little is better than loading too much. I try to put in enough laundry so that my palm can fit into the drum without obstruction.
Loading detergents
For detergent there is a special compartment with compartments, into each of which certain types of chemicals should be poured or poured. It is not recommended to use hand wash products due to excessive foam generation.
The powder is poured into the second compartment on the left, and liquid washing gels are poured there. For both types of products, as in any other modern washing machine, Indesit bwsa 61051 has dispensers. The air conditioner is placed in the first compartment on the left, closest to the user. Its level should not exceed the maximum mark.
Detergent dosage
It is usually written on the label of the powder, gel or conditioner, but the machine also has maximum values for their quantities. Both compartments have an o above which you should not fill the compartment with product.
Program selection
Basic
The main programs here include the mode for cotton, synthetics, colored fabrics, delicate wash and mixed.
Additional
Soak, quick wash, rinse.
Special
Here are programs for feather and down, sportswear, wool and odor removal.
Temperature selection
Adjusting the washing temperature depends on the degree of soiling of the items and the type of material. The coarser the fabric and the more soiled it is, the higher the temperature should be. I wash delicate materials, such as silk or wool, at 30-40 degrees. The program table also lists the desired temperature conditions.
Spin speed selection
The mode must correspond to the fabrics that are loaded into the machine. Bed linen, for example, can be wrung out at a higher speed, but it is better not to wring out silk at all, but only drain it. The car also has this function.

Additional functions
Soak
Allows you to soak heavily soiled laundry before washing. To do this, you need to select the appropriate program, its duration is 1 hour.
Quick wash
Wash for items that are not very dirty and do not require delicate care. The mode lasts 30 minutes, the maximum temperature is 30 degrees.
Extra rinse
This function is performed for 50 minutes, during operation the machine rinses and spins the laundry.
Delayed start function
The control panel has buttons that delay washing for 3, 6 and 9 hours.
Program progress indicator
The control panel has an electronic display that shows the choice of program and washing time, there are also indicators of programs and stages, for example, soaking, rinsing.
Changing the program after launch
If there is an error with the washing mode and you need to cancel it urgently, you must press the power button and hold for 3 seconds - this time will be displayed on the display. After this, you can start a new cycle.
Canceling a program
Cancellation is performed in a similar way - by pressing the start button.
Completing the program
At the end of the wash cycle, the indicator light comes on and the door lock indicator goes out.
Installation
Selecting a location
Floor
The floor must be strong and level. If there is a carpet, it is necessary that the base of the machine rises above the pile, otherwise there is a risk of compromising the required level of ventilation.
Room
The place in which the washing machine is located must be ventilated and spacious so that it does not touch walls, furniture and other objects.
Removing shipping bolts and fasteners
A Phillips screwdriver is used for this. After the bolts are removed, the holes are closed with plugs, which are included with Indesit BVSA 61051.
Adjusting the legs
The legs are adjusted by rotating after loosening the locknut using a wrench. When the height is adjusted, the locknuts are tightened back tightly.
Connection to water supply
The supplied gasket must be inserted into the end of the inlet hose and screwed onto the cold water outlet with a threaded hole. The hose is also connected to the washing machine, to the water inlet - in the rear upper part on the right. We did all the manipulations here manually.
Draining
This is where wrenches come in handy.
The hose is already screwed to the machine itself; all that remains is to place its free end in the bath or connect it to the drain pipeline at a height of 65-100 cm.
Electrical connection
Socket Requirements: The socket must be rated for the maximum wattage of the appliance and be compatible with the plug on the machine. The voltage meets the standards specified in the instructions. Grounding only according to GOST.
Possible malfunctions and their independent elimination
Doesn't turn on
The problem here can only be a disconnected plug from the socket or a lack of electricity.
The wash cycle does not start
Perhaps the hatch is not closed properly, the power button is not pressed, the water tap is turned off, or a delayed wash has been selected.
Doesn't take up water
The problem is most likely that the hose is not connected to the water supply, it is kinked, or there is no water in the house.
Doesn't drain water
This can happen when you select a program that does not provide for this, water overflows when the drain hose is kinked or the pipeline is clogged.
Strong vibration during operation
This is due to improper unlocking of the drum during installation, an uneven floor, or the machine being jammed between other pieces of furniture.
After filling, the water drains immediately
This occurs when the height of the drain hose is insufficient - less than 65 cm or when it is immersed in water.
Low water level when washing
Most likely, this is due to insufficient water pressure or a kink in the inlet hose.
The hatch door does not open
The programmed time has not yet passed after the end of the wash: the hatch will open in 2 minutes.
Washing takes longer than indicated in the program
Perhaps the problem is in the selection of additional functions, a higher washing temperature or the amount of laundry.
Water leak
The hose going to the water supply is poorly screwed on or is defective.
Unsatisfactory washing quality
Doesn't wash
Perhaps the program was selected incorrectly, the amount of detergent was calculated, or the laundry should be left for pre-soaking.
Doesn't press hard enough
Most likely, the spin speed is too low or the laundry is overloaded.
Smell of detergents on clothes after washing
Too much powder, gel or need for extra rinsing. Residues in the dispenser indicate a large amount of detergent.
