How to check the control module of a washing machine

If the Indesit motor and other elements are in good condition, but error F02 does not go away, the cause of the malfunction may be hidden in the control module. Serious malfunctions of the unit cannot be eliminated with your own hands - the part will have to be sent to service. But minor problems can be solved at home:

To access the control module, dismantle the top cover of the washing unit and remove the front panel.
All harnesses and cables are disconnected from the electronic unit, after which the part is removed from the housing.
The panel is inspected from the front and back. You can remove dust from the surface of the board, which can cause short circuits, and sand away traces of oxides and burnouts on metal contacts.
In some cases, condensation is detected on the control module. In this case, the board is dried at room temperature without additional thermal exposure.
