Each powder receptacle compartment in a Samsung washing machine is labeled. As a rule, the compartment with the Roman numeral I is intended for prewash. Therefore, not all housewives use it constantly, but only if washing with soaking is necessary. Therefore, you need to fill the compartment with powder if you have selected a program with pre-wash.

The first step is to remove the top panel of the machine. On the back side of the unit, in the upper corners, there are two self-tapping screws on which the panel is attached. Unscrew them with a screwdriver (or screwdriver), lift the back of the cover, move it towards you and remove the panel.

If necessary, clean the contacts and remove blockages in the tube, and check the sensor itself with a multimeter.
Next you should remove the hatch cuff . Gently pry the rubber collar clamp (retaining ring) with a flathead screwdriver, pull lightly on it, and then move the screwdriver around the entire circle to release the ring. Remove the rubber cuff and place it in the drum. Proceed as carefully as possible so as not to damage the integrity of the rubber. Close the drum door tightly.

Where to add dry washing powder, how to determine the proportions?
You need to pour the product into compartment A or I. The correct calculation of the concentration of the washing powder directly determines how well the clothes will be washed. If the amount of powder is not enough, stains will remain on the clothes.
To correctly calculate the amount of washing powder,
you need to consider several factors:
- volume of future washing;
- hardness of water;
- what temperature mode is selected;
- degree of pollution.
Most powder manufacturers place instructions on the back of the products, but you can determine the required amount yourself.
If you plan to fully load the drum, just to refresh things (no complex or old stains), you will need 150-175 g of powder. To combat complex stains, you need to add at least 200-225 g.
An equally important criterion is the total weight of loaded items . To figure out how much powder you will need, just look at the following ratios:

Problems and repairs of Samsung Diamond
Not a single washing machine is immune from malfunctions, even very high-quality Samsung equipment.
When a breakdown occurs, codes are indicated on the screen, taking into account which you can determine the type of fault. This will help to quickly correct the cause of equipment failure.
Code E4 indicates that the weight of the loaded laundry is exceeded or that it is incorrectly distributed in the tank:
- If the volume of laundry exceeds, you just need to take out some of the things.
- If the distribution is incorrect, you need to open the lid and lay out the clothes. If the lid is already locked, you need to turn off the washing machine. After 2-3 minutes the door will open.
The most common errors are DE and DOOR. If this sign lights up after completion of work or in the middle of the cycle, there is no need to worry. The error will disappear on its own when the water in the drum cools down.
Also, the DE code may be displayed when the lid is not tightly closed. Naturally, the malfunction is easy to fix if it is not a failure of the hinges or a failure of the controller. Repair of the latest malfunction is carried out only by Samsung warranty service.
Difficulties with draining water are indicated by codes: CE, 5E. Possible breakdowns:
- pump impeller,
- electronic node,
- drain contamination,
- water fill detector.
Malfunctions are eliminated after checking the contacts between the nodes and replacing them or cleaning the drain.
Codes LE and E9 indicate hose problems. Probably the reason is the low level of its location. The fault can be removed by adjusting the hose. If the error appears constantly, this indicates a breakdown of the drain mechanism. In this case, you need to contact a Samsung repair shop.
If the heating element breaks down, the H1 sign appears. The washing machine can only be repaired by replacing the heating element. You shouldn't do this yourself.
Codes EE, E4 appear on washing machines with a drying option. Such a malfunction can only be repaired at a Samsung repair shop.
Errors where the “E” sign is present in the code indicate a breakdown of the electric drive:
- 3E1 - difficulty rotating the drum due to overload.
- 3E - tachometer break or motor winding short circuit.
- 3E3 - tachometer failure.
- 3E2 - contact with the tachogenerator is broken.
- FE - shaft failure on the engine.
- 8E - failure of the electric drive.
Actions to correct errors will depend on the complexity of the breakdown. As a rule, the washing machine is repaired at a Samsung warranty workshop.
Excess amount of water is indicated: OF, OE, E3. To correct the breakdown, you need to clean the pipe from possible contamination and check the water filling controller. In the latter case, installation of a new module is required.
Incorrect water filling is indicated by codes: 4E, E1. Main reasons:
- low pressure,
- lack of water in the central pipeline,
- malfunction of the water intake pipe,
- hose malfunctions,
- no access to water.
If, due to low pressure in the pipeline or lack of water, there is not enough water in the tank, error 1E appears. The code may also appear if the water controller fails or there are problems with the hoses. All elements need to be replaced with new ones.
The UE sign indicates that the water filter is dirty. The error disappears after cleaning the filter or replacing it.
Codes 4E1 and 4E2 appear on the screen when setting the washing functions if the required temperature exceeds the possible permissible one. In this case, you need to select a lower temperature, and the error will disappear on its own. This code may also indicate a high temperature during the drying process or a malfunction of the hoses.
During weak contact in the control sensor, strong heating or short circuit, errors AE and BE appear.
A power failure is indicated by the UC sign. In this case, you can try restarting the washing machine.
Attention: In case of regular power failures, it is best to install a voltage stabilizer. This will help extend the operating time of the machine.

EXPLOSIVE GAS. If your hot water system has not been used for
two weeks or more, open all hot water taps in your home and allow the water to drain for a few minutes before using the washing machine. This will allow all the hydrogen produced to escape. During this time, you should not smoke or light an open fire, as hydrogen is flammable. If there is a gas leak, ventilate the room immediately without touching the power plug.
