As a rule, due to the high quality of components and parts of these household appliances, Candy washing machines rarely break down and in the first years there are practically no problems with their operation. The most popular models are small-sized Aquamatic machines. This is the best price/quality offer on the market among small washing machines. Front-mounted machines are produced directly in Italy, vertical machines - in France. Thank God I haven’t noticed the assembly of washing machines in the countries of the former USSR and Eastern Europe yet. In terms of quality and reliability, Kandy is a very worthy SM, with a small percentage of negative reviews. So you will be satisfied with the quality (except for possible force majeure in the sense of your personal pathological bad luck). Like any other equipment, washing equipment from this manufacturer has a number of distinctive production and design features. These include, for example, the placement of parts involved in the operation of the engine in a separate housing. The signature feature of washing machines is the oval-shaped tank. With the same quality of washing in an oval tank, the volume of water poured into it is reduced (less water that is not in contact with the laundry), detergent consumption, water heating time and electricity consumption are reduced. Despite the wide range of functions (various washing and drying modes), washing machines from this company are very compact and this causes certain difficulties in repair, but let’s say right away that the cost of repair is not higher than that of other washing machines

How to use a Kandy washing machine

There are no special features in operation, although there are some minor nuances in connecting the sewerage system and water supply. It can be connected to the water supply in almost any way, that is, the main thing here is that the water flows without obstacles to the water inlet hose. In general, even with minimal pressure, the Candy washing machine will wash and there will be no glitches like those from Bosch. The fact is that this washing machine is not very picky about water pressure, unlike some brands, so even in rural areas where there is no centralized water supply, this technique can work very well. Now let's talk about draining the water, the most important condition is that the drain hose must be raised to the height of the powder container, that is, almost under the top cover, this is necessary in order to avoid self-draining. In short, there is nothing complicated in connecting to the water supply and sewerage; alternatively, you can use this method, which you can see in the photo below

Now I would like to say a few words about how to properly operate the Kandy washing machine, believe me, this is important, thanks to the tips that you can read below, your washing machine will work much longer

1. Spin mode → It is not advisable to set it to more than 800 rpm. For information, I will say this, a normal spin starts at 600 rpm, and anything above 800 will not give you the desired result. Let's just say that maybe she will twist it a little better, but then the laundry will come out of the drum very wrinkled. But still, the most important thing is that at high speeds the service life of the bearings and oil seal is reduced, this is what prompted me to make such a recommendation
2. Washing temperature → It is advisable not to set it above 70 degrees; if you want to steam the laundry, it is better to do it manually. The point here is not so much the scale, which certainly accumulates on the walls of the tank and heating element, the point here is that the heating element consumes more than 2 kW. If you constantly use 90°C, this will harm the control module, and the heating element itself will fail much faster, in addition, this will put a serious load on the electrical wiring in your apartment or house
3. Do not use carriers → This is the first enemy of any household appliance
4. Run a separate outlet → Be sure to make separate wiring from the meter. I have always been interested in the question why for boilers, in almost every house, there is a separate socket with automatic machines, but for a washing machine they throw some kind of extension cord or even connect it through a European adapter. The boiler consumes up to 2 kW, the washing machine consumes over 2.5 kW. Here, either few people know about this or simply don’t want to pay attention to it, but this fact greatly influences the work of the brain of the SM and not only
5. Place a rubber mat → It seems like a small thing, but it will help the machine be more stable, it won’t shake too much. Many people think that it has rubber feet, so it won’t be a coward and it won’t go anywhere; this is far from true. Believe me, this simple method will help reduce vibration.
6. Wipe the sunroof glass → This should be done after each wash, this way you remove scale from the glass. It is important to understand here that if scale accumulates on the glass of the door, then it will subsequently act like sandpaper, thereby rendering the rubber band unusable, that is, the hatch cuff
7. Pump filter → It is advisable to clean it after every twentieth wash. Don’t think that you are a super housewife and nothing will fly through your hands - it will fly just as well. Believe me, I hear such statements every time in my workshop, and then I pull out matches, coins and paper clips.
8. At the end of the wash → Open the powder container and the loading hatch 2-3 cm. Thanks to this, there will be no smell in the washing machine, as ventilation will occur.

If you follow these seemingly simple tips, your washing machine will last several years longer. Many people neglect what I wrote above, I think they do it in vain. One more thing I would like to say is that after the washing machine has completely washed and you have taken out the laundry, do not forget to unplug it. It is important to understand here that even if you turn off the washing machine with the “Power” button, this does not mean that there is no voltage supplied to the control module; very often it happens that the brains seem to be on fire when the machine is turned off. Understand that as long as the plug is in the socket, your machine is in a standby state and if there is a voltage drop, it is quite possible that the control module may fail

How to choose a washing mode in a washing machine

Before setting the program you need, prepare for washing:

1. Sort your laundry by color and fabric type. It will not be superfluous to sort things by volume. Wash small and large items separately to avoid unbalancing the drum.
2. Treat stains if there are any.
3. Plug in the machine and run “Start”.

1. Place the laundry in the drum.
2. Pour and pour detergent into the cuvette.
3. Use the selector wheel to select the desired automatic mode.
4. Turn on the program start button.

When choosing automatic washing, you do not need to set the washing time, temperature, spin speed and other parameters. In all auto modes, these functional moments are already programmed by the manufacturer. The main thing is to make the right choice of mode, taking into account the type and color of the fabric.
