With Time Manager, you can finally fit your laundry into your personal schedule. The function allows you to adjust the time allotted for a particular cycle. You can adjust the program duration based on the degree of soiling of your clothes. The most modern Electrolux models have up to 8 time setting options.

The instructions for using the Electrolux washing machine offer many modes. Among them there are both universal ones, suitable for synthetics and cotton fabrics, and those intended for certain types of material and clothing - wool, silk, denim, jackets, rugs, etc. When developing each program, to obtain optimal washing quality, the characteristics of the fabric are taken into account . Universal modes are used more often for the following reasons:

they allow you to load the drum as much as possible;
they have a choice of spin speed and temperature;
You can wash both synthetic and cotton items.

Their only drawback is their length. Depending on what temperature the hostess turns on, the cycle can take two hours or more. How many people can afford to waste so much time? In addition, in large families the washing machine is started more often than once or twice a week. Because of this, you have to rearrange your plans taking into account the hours spent on laundry.

Time Manager allows you to use your machine the way you want. Why spin clothes that are not too dirty in the drum for two whole hours? Intensive treatment or quick refreshment - now it's your choice!

You can enable the function on the control panel with the button of the same name. The economy indicator (usually in the form of a circle of hours) will show the number of wash time levels. If, for some reason, the default cycle duration does not suit you, press the button and select the desired level using +/-. Basic Time Manager offers the following alternatives.

The first level is the usual degree of contamination, full load.
The second is minor contamination of things at maximum load.
The third is when loading laundry onto ½ drum.
The fourth is for refreshing a small amount of clothing.

The number of levels depends on the specific model. The latest Electrolux have up to 8 cycle time options. They are displayed on a liquid crystal display, which shows the balance between the result and the selected level.

What other functions are there?

Different Electrolux models may be equipped with additional icons that are not present in other models - developers are constantly improving the devices, adding something, removing something. So, for example, you can see the following signs on some branded cars:

Iron is an option - easy ironing. Of course, there is nothing like an iron there, it’s just that the drum, rotating in a special way, prevents creasing.

How much time can you save?

Before you start using such a useful feature, it’s a good idea to find out exactly how to manage it. Let's make calculations of how much the program will be reduced when choosing a specific level. So, if Time Manager is divided into 4 segments, at the first level (full hour circle) the cycle will be completed completely. The second makes it possible to reduce the initial period by a quarter, and the third - almost by half. The fourth saves ⅔ of time.

Important! If your model is designed for six levels or eight, the correction can be made with a smaller time step.

Thus, with the maximum reduction of the two-hour cycle, the wash can be completed in less than 60 minutes. However, the use of Time Manager is not justified in all programs. If the cycle is already short, then activating the function does not make sense. The curious can experiment.
