Seal the holes on the rear panel with the supplied plugs. Note: If the spacers are still inside the machine, remove the rear panel, remove them, and reinstall the panel.
For transportation, the swinging unit of the machine is fixed with 4 spacers on screws. Before using the machine, unscrew the locking screws with a wrench.
Insert a screwdriver into the holes and remove the 4 plastic locking spacers as shown in the picture. Note: If the spacers are still inside the machine, remove the rear panel, remove them, and reinstall the panel.
Installation and leveling of the Ardo s 1000 washing machine
Once you have chosen a suitable location for the machine, level it using the adjustable feet [Fig. 3]. Pay particular attention to the positioning of the machine, its leveling and the tightness of the locknuts.
If the ARDO S 1000 X washing machine is not leveled correctly, the machine will be unstable and make noise during operation, which can subsequently lead to damage. If the machine is installed on a rug, you should check that air circulates freely between it and the floor. It is not recommended to install the ARDO S 1000 X washing machine in rooms where the temperature may drop below 0C.
Connection to water supply
➘ The water pressure in the water supply network must be within the range of 0.05 3 1.00 mPa (0.5 3 10 bar.)
Before connecting the machine, open the tap and let the water drain so that the pipes are cleared of contaminants such as sand and rust (this operation is especially important in cases where the ARDO S 1000 X washing machine has not been used for a long time, or when it is connected to a curved pipeline water supply). ➘ The inlet hose must be connected to the cold water tap with a 3/4” threaded fitting. ➘ Place the filter mat supplied with the machine between the tap and the pipe, and then tighten the connection tightly [fig. 4].
➘ Place the gasket on the other end of the inlet hose and screw it to the ARDO S 1000 X washing machine [fig. 5].
➘ During washing, the water supply tap must be fully open. ➘ The water drain pipe should be at a height of 60 to 90 cm [Fig. 6].
➘ If water is to be discharged directly into the sewer, the free edge of the pipe of the ARDO S 1000 X washing machine must be inserted into a sewer pipe with an internal diameter of at least 40 mm. ➘ Make sure that the drain pipe of the machine is not tightly inserted into the sewer pipe, so that the siphon does not fill with air and, accordingly, water overflow does not occur. ➘ If water is drained into a sink or anywhere else, the free end of the pipe must be secured at the point where it bends with a special holder included with the machine. Thus, place the pipe on the edge of the sink and secure the holder so that the pipe does not fall [Fig. 7]. The sink drainage channel must be clean so that water can flow through it freely.
Electrical connection
➘ Check that the voltage indicated in the technical data of the machine on the plate on the inside of the filter cover matches the mains voltage [Fig. 8].
➘ The circuit breaker, electrical cords and wall outlet must be sized to withstand the maximum load rating indicated on the label. ➘ The socket to which the ARDO S 1000 X washing machine is connected must be grounded. Otherwise, the manufacturer declines all liability for accidents [Fig. 9].
➘ If the machine's plug socket does not work or is unusable, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician. ➘ Do not connect the machine to the electrical network through extension cords or multi-pin connectors. ➘ During maintenance operations, the plug of the ARDO S 1000 X washing machine must be disconnected from the power source. ➘ Do not insert or remove the plug from the socket with wet hands. ➘ If the power cord is damaged in any way, take it to a qualified workshop. ➘ Place the appliance so that the power cord is easily accessible so that it can be unplugged if necessary.
REMOVING SOME TYPES OF STAINS
Some stains cannot be removed from clothing with one wash in the ARDO S 1000 X washing machine. Before removing any stains manually, you should first try to remove them on an inconspicuous area of the clothing, starting from the edge of the stain and gradually approaching its center to prevent the formation of streaks . Below are various methods for removing stains.
• WAX: To avoid damaging the fabric, use a rounded object to scrape off the wax. Then place the fabric between two sheets of blotting paper and iron the stain with a hot iron. • BALLPOINT PENS AND FEEL-TIME POINTS: Clean with a soft cloth soaked in ethyl alcohol. Make sure that the stain does not spread. • HUMIDITY AND MOLD: If the fabric holds up well to bleach, run the wash cycle adding bleach to the special compartment [see program table]. Otherwise, soak the stained area with 10 percent hydrogen peroxide and leave for 10 or 15 minutes. • MINOR IRON BURNS ON FABRIC: Follow the tips given for removing mildew and moisture stains. • RUST: Use rust removers according to the manufacturer's directions on the package. • CHEWING GUM: Rub ice on the cloth, scrub as hard as you can, and then go over it with a cotton cloth soaked in acetone.
• PAINT: Allow paint to dry. Wipe the contaminated area with the solvent indicated on the paint package (for example, water, turpentine, trichlorethylene), soap and rinse. • LIPSTICK: stains on cotton or wool are removed with a cloth soaked in ether; for silk, use trichlorethylene. • NAIL POLISH: Place blotting paper on the stained fabric and wet the back of the fabric with acetone, changing the paper frequently. Continue this way until the stain disappears completely. • Vegetable oil or tar: Apply a little fresh butter to the stain, leave for a while and then wash off with turpentine. • GRASS: Lather gently, use diluted bleach. Such stains can also be easily removed from woolen fabrics with 90% alcohol. • BLOOD: soak in cold water with added salt, then wash with laundry soap.

Washing modes in the Ardo washing machine
Depending on the model of the Ardo washing machine, the number of programs in them may vary, but the designations and principle of operation will be exactly the same. The control panel contains a selector around which icons for the following programs are located:
- Cotton. Indicated by the image of a box of cotton. Designed for washing colored and white cotton fabrics at temperatures up to 90°C. The laundry is spun at maximum speed or in accordance with the user’s settings. The cycle runs from 145 to 170 minutes depending on the selected temperature.
- Synthetics. (icon with a picture of a flask). Program for synthetic or mixed fabrics. The maximum permissible temperature is 60°C, washing time is 127 minutes.
- Express 20. Refreshes things for 20 minutes at a temperature of 20°C. Thus, the program can be used to refresh items from the closet that have an unpleasant odor, but do not require a full wash.
- Wool. Badge with the image of a ball of wool. The program, using an increased amount of water, gently washes woolen items. The cycle lasts for 56 minutes.
- Manual. This mode can be determined by the image of a hand lowered into the pelvis. A program for washing items whose label recommends hand washing. The laundry is carefully washed for 100 minutes at a water temperature of no more than 30°C.
- Fast. This mode is used to wash lightly soiled items made from different fabrics. The washing program lasts 35 minutes. The water temperature does not exceed 35°C.
- Daily. Designed for linen that requires daily washing. Indicated by the image of a T-shirt. Temperature mode – no more than 40°C, this mode consumes a minimum amount of water and electricity.
- Sports. For sports items or other items that do not require ironing. The water heats up to 40°C.
- Denim fabrics. Identified by the jeans icon. Such items are washed for 70 minutes in water at a temperature of 40°C, this protects the fabrics from discoloration.
- Shirts. Program for daily washing of shirts. For this mode, the volume of water is significantly increased, and the spin cycle is significantly reduced, thanks to which the clothes wrinkle slightly.
- Hygiene. The program is used for gentle hygienic cleaning of synthetics, as well as white and colored cotton fabrics.
WASHING DETERGENTS
The ARDO S 1000 X washing machine is equipped with a drawer for detergents consisting of three compartments [Fig. 10]. The drawer panel contains a description of the programs.
I compartment for detergent powder for pre-wash or soak (1) II compartment for detergent powder for normal washing (2) compartment for softener, fragrance, additives or bleach (3)
In areas with hard water, use anti-scale agent along with detergents, which increases efficiency and improves the quality of washing and at the same time protects machine parts from lime deposits. This product should be placed together with the detergent in the middle compartment (2). ATTENTION: USE powder or liquid detergents for ARDO S 1000 X automatic washing machines for WASHING, as they produce less foam. Put in the machine as much detergent as recommended by the manufacturer on the packaging. Excessive amounts of detergent can cause too much foam to form and negatively affect the wash result. Insufficient amount of detergent may result in unsatisfactory washing results.
SERVICE
The ARDO S 1000 X washing machine is designed to minimize its maintenance. However, it is important to always remember to clean your machine regularly. Before cleaning, make sure that the appliance is disconnected from the electrical network and that the water supply is turned off. ATTENTION !! Do not wash the car with chemical compounds; use only a soft, damp and slightly soapy cloth for cleaning. Cleaning the ARDO S 1000 X washing machine Wipe the outer casing and rubber parts of the machine with a soft damp cloth. Do not use abrasives, gasoline or other solvents. After finishing washing, leave the machine door open for a while to allow the rubber parts to dry. Clean the detergent compartments periodically. To do this, remove the entire drawer and rinse it under running water. Push it into place. Cleaning the filter ATTENTION!! Before you begin the operations described below, make sure that the ARDO S 1000 X washing machine is empty. Do not remove the filter while the machine is running or when the machine tank is full of water. Place a rag or flat tray under the filter to collect any remaining water from the filter. Open the filter cover, unscrew the filter counterclockwise and remove it [Fig. eleven]. The filter must be cleaned periodically. Rinse the filter under running water and clean it of all contaminants. Screw the filter clockwise and check that it is sealed tightly.
Additional functions
In addition to the main modes, the Ardo machine allows you to select additional functions to ensure the best washing of clothes and maximum care for your laundry. These include:
- Additional rinse. This option is activated if an increased amount of detergent is added. Also, the ability to set an extra rinse is relevant for people with small children, sensitive skin or those suffering from allergic diseases.
- Preliminary. Used in the “Cotton”, “Synthetics” and “Daily” modes and is intended for washing heavily soiled laundry. Detergent should be placed in the main and pre-wash compartments.
- Intense. When this option is activated, the “Cotton” and “Synthetics” programs run for a longer time than originally intended for better washing of heavily soiled items.
- Cleaning system. This function allows you to clean the drum and rubber cuff of the washing machine from unpleasant odors, mold and bacteria.
- Simple ironing. When using this function, the Ardo machine adjusts the washing parameters so that the laundry is less wrinkled and easier to straighten when ironing. The drum of the washing machine performs gentle rocking to smooth the fabrics, and the spin cycle in this case is reduced to 500 rpm.
- Spin. This option is used if the laundry is very wet after completing the cycle. You can adjust the speed yourself or leave the default value.
- Drying. This function is relevant for Ardo washing machines with drying function. Performed automatically upon completion of the “Cotton” and “Synthetics” modes or activated manually. The user can set the drying time independently in accordance with the desired result (things will be ironed or immediately put away in the closet).
The specified program execution times may vary depending on the Ardo machine model, the set temperature, and many other parameters.
