For Bosch Classixx 5, Classixx 4, Classixx 3 models.
- Press the “on/start” button and hold it pressed.
- Turn the selector from the “off” position two positions to the left (two clicks). We continue to hold the “on/start” button.
- We wait 2 seconds and release the “power/start” button.
- The display should show the duration of the washing program in which the selector is currently set (On machines without a display, all indicators should flash).
Resetting the error may not work the first time, repeat the above steps until the reset does not work.
Resetting errors on Bosch Maxx 5 series washing machines
Bosch Maxx 5 washing machines come with and without displays. The error code is reset the same way.
We set the program selector to the “off” position.
All manipulations must be performed when the machine is turned on and the error code is triggered. An error code on a machine without a display is indicated by illuminated (flashing) indicators.
Next, set the selector to the “spin” position.
If in the “off” position it was at 12 o’clock, now we set it to 6 o’clock.
Now press the “drum revolutions” button and hold it. We continue to hold the “drum revolutions” button, and move the selector to the “Drain” position (7 o’clock)
Next, count down 3 seconds and release the “drum revolutions” button. Immediately turn the selector to the “Super fast 15” position (at 4 o’clock). We wait 2 seconds, then turn the program selector counterclockwise to the “off” position.
After this, the error should be reset. If the error goes away, you will see this as the wash programs will start sequentially and the Bosch washing machine will run any wash cycle without any problems.
If the reset does not occur, you need to repeat the sequence of actions until it succeeds.

Safety precautions when using a washing machine
We will tell you what rules for safe operation of the machine should be followed in order to avoid injury or break the unit:
- The body of the washing machine is an excellent conductor of electric current, as there are many metal parts inside. Therefore, when you unplug the machine, hold strictly to the rubberized part of the plug. Do not turn the unit on or off with wet hands, as water also conducts current. Do not remove the plug from the socket while the machine is running.
- Children should not play with the machine as they may damage it or be accidentally injured - the machine is heavy and contains many parts that are dangerous for children.
- When washing is started at high temperatures, the glass on the door can become very hot - do not touch it to avoid getting burned.
- Laundry detergent and liquid detergents should be kept in locked cabinets, out of reach of pets and children.
- After you have unpacked and installed the machine, you must immediately get rid of the packaging - it can be dangerous for children and animals.
- You cannot wash items in a washing machine that are saturated with gasoline, diesel fuel, or other flammable substances. To wash such items in the machine, they must first be rinsed by hand.
- You should not wash things in the machine that have pungent chemical odors - the machine can become saturated with these odors, and then it will be difficult to get rid of them.
How to use?
Before using a machine with a vertical loading type, you must first prepare the items for washing:
- Sort laundry by color and fabric type: silk, synthetic, wool, cotton, etc. Do not wash dark, light and colored items together. It is better to wash overly soiled linens and clothes separately, as well as items that may fade.
- Remove all foreign objects from your pockets, especially hard ones. They can damage machine parts and render it inoperable.
- All items must have buttons and zippers fastened, and laces must be tied. Buttons, on the contrary, should be left undone. You must first remove pins, brooches and other decorative elements from clothing, and remove the belt from your trousers.
- Bedding items - duvet covers and pillowcases - need to be turned inside out and any accumulated lumps and dirt removed from the corners. You should also turn leggings and stockings inside out. It is better to immerse underwear and socks in a special bag before washing.
There is no need to fill the drum of the machine to capacity or exceed the loading weight specified by the manufacturer.
How to determine the weight of laundry by eye:
- for cotton linen - a fully loaded drum;
- for woolen linen - a drum one-third full;
- for synthetics - half load.
Steps to use a top loading machine:
Lift the lid and open the locking flaps.- Place the laundry in the drum.
- Pour the powder into a special compartment on the top cover of the device. Pour or pour the composition intended for washing into the largest compartment, and the rinse aid into the compartment marked with a flower.
- Set the desired washing and spin mode, press the start button.
- After the allotted time, remove the items from the drum and hang them to dry.
Troubleshooting Bosch Maxx 6 errors
A smart washing machine itself reports malfunctions or problems during washing not only with the help of sound signals, but also displays special codes on the display. Such codes show not only major breakdowns, but also small errors that just need to be reset for the machine to continue working:
- D01 – no water supply. You need to check if the water tap is open and if the hose is connected.
- D02 – the drain filter is clogged. Clean the filter and start the unit again.
- D03 - clog or problem with the drain hose. Carefully inspect the hose, rinse it and start the wash again.
- D06 - blocking drum movement. Most likely, a small object is stuck between the body and the drum: a toy, a piece of clothing.
- D07 - the hatch cover is not closed completely. Open it and close it again until it clicks.
Pros and cons of Bosch washing machines
Units with a top loading type of laundry have their advantages and disadvantages.
Pros:
small size, the device will fit well into a room with a small area;- some models of top-loading machines are not connected to water supply, they can be installed in any convenient place, not just in the bathroom;
- ease of operation;
- almost silent operation thanks to the special drum design;
- the ability to put laundry into the drum already during the washing process.
Minuses:
- such equipment cannot be built into furniture: the lid must be open when the device is not in use;
- Most models have a non-removable powder cell, making it somewhat difficult to clean;
- The laundry load density is small;
- the price of top-loading models exceeds the cost of front-loading models;
- Difficulties in washing jackets, blankets and other large items: the hole for placing laundry is small.
Maintenance and repair of Bosch Maxx 6
For regular maintenance of the device, you need to clean the drain hose, pump and inlet valve screen from time to time. To clean the pump, you need to carefully remove it from the machine, releasing the accumulated water into a prepared container. Rinse the filter, disconnect the drain hose and inspect it for kinks or blockages. Remove the mesh with pliers and insert it back after cleaning.
It is also necessary to wash the detergent drawer 4 times a year so that there are no sticky lumps of powder in it. To do this, you need to take it out of the special compartment and rinse it under running cool water. Next, wipe dry and insert back.
Wipe the machine body with a soft cloth or rags soaked in a solution of non-aggressive detergent. Then wipe dry. To wash the drum, do not use products containing chlorine - it damages the steel coating.
After washing, be sure to wipe the drum dry and ventilate the machine by opening the door for an hour and a half.
The Bosch Maxx 6 washing machine will last a long time if you follow simple operating rules and keep children away from the operating device. Carry out hygienic and preventive maintenance of the device regularly to avoid annoying breakdowns. In this case, the machine will delight you with its work for decades.
Technologies used in Bosch 6 series machines
All Bosch 6 series devices are equipped with the EcoSilence Drive inverter motor developed by Bosch and running smoothly. The following technologies are used in the machines:
- Smart dosing or i-Dos. The device independently determines the type of fabric, the weight of the laundry and calculates the required amount of powder. This helps improve wash quality and reduce detergent consumption.
- TouchControl. This is a touch control panel, which means that in the future your buttons will not stick due to dust and dirt getting into them.
- Drum perforation comes in two designs. Vario Drum - drop type, Vario Soft - in the form of large and small hemispheres. The differences in operation are minor, but the second option washes things more carefully.
- 3D-AquaSpar. Supply of liquid with powder dissolved in it from three sides, which increases the contact of heavily soiled items with the detergent, and therefore increases the efficiency of the Bosch 6 series washing machine.
