- disconnect the hose from the sewer (release the clamp with pliers and unhook the corrugation from the pipe);
- detach the hose from the back panel of the washing machine by removing the provided plastic clips;
- lower the corrugation below the level of the tank of the Ariston washing machine, placing the free end in the basin, bathtub or toilet;
- wait until the water drains out of the washer by gravity.
Draining through a hose is only possible on Ariston models that are not equipped with an internal loop or check valve.
Water is drained through the main hose simply, quickly and without unnecessary preparations. But there is one catch - the method does not work on all machines. Modern washing machines that have a special internal loop or check valve block gravity flow, preventing accidental leakage during washing. As a rule, we are talking about models released after 2015.
