60 degrees. With intensive washing, the process is shorter, since the soaking step is eliminated. Duration is reduced to 2.5 hours. This option is chosen for heavily soiled white items - tablecloths, towels, bed linen.
40 degrees. Recommended for colored products. Duration - about 2.5 hours.

Synthetics. A flask with temperature indication is shown. There are two options:

60 °C - 1 hour 25 minutes.
40 °C - gentle version, lasting 1 hour 11 minutes. Loading - 50%. This is usually 2.5–3.5 kg, depending on the model.

Wool. A skein of thread is drawn. For wool and cashmere items. Duration - 55 minutes. Temperature: 40°C. Spin speed is reduced.
Silk. The picture shows a T-shirt. For curtains made of thin fabrics, for viscose and underwear. They are washed at 30°C for 55 minutes. Load the drum by about 20% - up to 1–1.5 kg. There is no spin.

Some models may contain separate modes, without an emphasis on fabric. Washing available:

Preliminary. Use instead of soaking. Gently rotate in slightly warm (30 °C) water.
Daily (everyday) is a standard program for quickly washing lightly soiled items.

Jeans. The icon matches the name. Created specifically for denim products. Wash at 40 degrees. Loading - up to 2.5 kg. Drum speed is reduced.
Quick wash mode. The picture is a clock. The express version allows you to wash things in a quarter of an hour. Loading - about one and a half kg. Temperature: 30°C.
Shoes. The picture shows a sneaker. Designed for sports shoes - sneakers, suede sneakers. Wash in lukewarm water, two pairs at a time. Cycle duration: 50 minutes.
Sportswear. There are models with two options - regular and intensive. The water is heated to 30 °C. Time - 1 hour 20 minutes.

Disabling the spin option

Many items (made of wool, silk and other delicate fabrics) may be prohibited from twisting. This will be indicated by a special sign on the product label. It is not at all necessary to refuse to machine wash such clothes if there is a picture in the washing machine in the form of a crossed out spiral (or the number “0” in the list of spin speed options).

This icon indicates the “no spin” function and is provided by many SMA manufacturers. What does the washer do if you disable this option? First of all, it stops spinning the laundry. But each manufacturer has its own “but”.

In Electrolux machines, this option means the following: all stages of spinning clothes are canceled and replaced with one drain, preventing the formation of deep folds in the laundry. In this case, more water is used during rinsing than usual.

In Bosch SMA, the use of this option only involves canceling the final stage of spinning the laundry. After the last rinse there is no drainage, so the clothes remain in the water. The function is indicated not by a crossed out snail, but by a basin.

The “spin” sign on washing machines is simple and universal in general, but it is used for each specific SMA model with an individual meaning. This is why it is so important to read the operating instructions for your equipment. After all, it is designed not only to help eliminate the problem, but also to improve the quality of washing, using all its capabilities as efficiently as possible.

What buttons and selectors are there?

Any Indesit SMA has the following elements on the control panel:

Program switch. There are icons on the panel, duplicated with pictures. The consumer turns the selector to select the desired option.
Temperature switch. If the user selects a specific program, the temperature is set automatically. But thanks to the selector, you can adjust the water heating.
Speed switch. The rotation speed of the drum can also be changed - in any direction.
Start/stop or on/off button. Activates and deactivates the machine. Near the button there is an LED indicating the state of the device.

How to stop washing Indesit?

To do this, press the “Start/Pause”, “Pause” or simply “Start” key, and then turn the programmer to the “Stop” position. If the unit does not provide the ability to pause the cycle, then we immediately turn to the regulator.

How to set the desired mode?

The selection is made using the programmer knob. There are inscriptions and icons around the selector switch. On older models there are no verbal designations - only icons, hence the problems with choice. It happens that the owners of the machines do not understand the images, then they need instructions to decipher the symbols. In the new models, the manufacturer took this omission into account - all icons are duplicated with words.

Before you set the mode, you need to sort the things that you are going to wash. Evaluate them by type of fabric, color, degree of soiling. Taking these positions into account, a decision is made: choose a ready-made program or customize your own. If preference falls on the second option, then the user selects:

temperature;
duration of the process;
rotational speed.

Whether a ready-made program is included or your own is being configured, the user can add additionally:

soak;
rinsing;
light ironing;
spin

The process can be delayed for a certain time, depending on the duration of the timer. Typically, the maximum delayed start time is 24 hours. Descriptions of the modes can be read in the instructions.

How to run a program on an Indesit washing machine

To start the Indesit machine, you need to load clothes into the drum, pour powder into the ditch and use the selector to select the mode corresponding to the type of clothes. If necessary, reduce or increase the temperature and spin, shorten the wash duration, if allowed by the program. If necessary, you can add additional rinsing, soaking and light ironing.

If necessary, the user can program the washing machine to start later, for example, when he comes home from work in order to get and hang clean clothes.

To start the selected mode, you need to press the “Start/Pause” button.

If the Indesit machine is equipped with an electronic display, then during operation it will display on the display the time remaining until the end of the current program. Otherwise, it notifies by the glow of the corresponding indicators about the stages at which it is located. These are the Soak, Main Wash, Rinse and Spin icons. If during operation the Indesit machine cannot continue washing for some reason, it notifies you of a problem or malfunction by displaying a numerical-alphabetic error code on the display or by flashing the indicators in a certain sequence.

Please note the maximum permissible drum load.
Sort your laundry by color, type of fabric, color fastness and presence of decor (embroidery, beads, rhinestones, etc.). The presence of decorative decorations is a reason to use special bags.

Function selection buttons

If you select a function that is incompatible with another previously selected function, only the last selected function will remain enabled.

POWER/HOOF LOCKED indicator: When illuminated, the sunroof is locked to prevent accidental opening. To avoid damaging it, you must wait until the indicator starts flashing before opening the sunroof.

Special modes in popular Indesit models

WG1035txc. A distinctive feature of this modification is the presence of additional settings for each main program. For example, not just “synthetics”, but several options - with fabric softening, anti-shedding and for durable colored products. Additionally, automatic addition of softening agents is installed.
IWDC 6105. There is a non-standard “light sports” option - for washing lightly soiled sportswear for fitness, yoga or swimming. There is a “quick dry wash” - it quickly washes and dries things. Half load. Ready time: 15 minutes.
WISL 105. Only one additional option - “everyday wash at 30 °C”. Applicable to synthetics with minor stains. Allows you to save water and electricity. It is recommended to use liquid detergents.
WISL 102. In addition to “daily care 30 degrees”, there is also “light ironing” - its activation depends on the tolerance of the selected program, load and temperature.
WIT 60. Budget version without additional options. But there is a “water stop” function.
WIUN 102. There is “daily washing of synthetics” at 30 degrees.

Each Indesit washing machine can perform both standard and additional programs. Thanks to this feature, the owner of the device can easily set the correct washing mode. Correctly set water temperature is responsible for the quality of washing and guarantees careful treatment of clothes.

The Indesit brand takes very seriously the care of young children. It was for them that a unique “Hypoallergenic Wash” program was developed.

According to the technical parameters, each individual model of the Indesit washing machine has a specific marking. The first group determines whether the device belongs to a specific line:

MyTime – E;
EcoTime – I;
Innex-B

Devices with front loading type are marked:

S – narrowed;
U – super narrow.

The next indicator is the designation of the type, namely:

W – device with front loading type;
TW – design with a vertical loading type.

"Cotton"

The process of this program consists of several stages. The first is soaking the clothes, the second is washing, the third is rinsing and spinning. According to the standard, the “Cotton” program is designed for washing in water at 90 degrees. In this case, the drum should be maximally loaded. Otherwise, it will be impossible to get rid of contaminants. Standard wash time is 2 hours 51 minutes. This may seem uneconomical in terms of wasting electricity. However, the maximum load of the drum allows you to handle the wash in one step, no more.

The Cotton program is also designed for additional settings. For example, when choosing a temperature of 60 degrees, there is no soaking step. The washing process itself takes 2 hours 35 minutes. Typically, this additional installation is used to remove dirt from tablecloths and bed linen.

The gentle mode of the “Cotton” program lasts 2 hours 27 minutes at a water temperature of 40 degrees. It is used for washing colored laundry that may fade.

"Synthetics"

This program combines several washing submodes. The first lasts 1 hour 20 minutes at a constant water temperature of 60 degrees. The second sub-mode is delicate, since the water temperature does not exceed 40 degrees.

For high-quality and efficient washing, it is recommended to load the drum 50% of the total volume.
