Broken lock latch
A special lock is responsible for locking the hatch. If the latch is faulty, sticks, or works poorly, then the door gets stuck. You will have to perform a number of actions:
- unplug the cord from the outlet;
- remove the washing machine panel;
- check the lock lock;
- remove the blocker with a screwdriver;
- re-secure the top panel;
- connect the electrical appliance to the network.
If the latch fails once, it will block the door every time. It is also possible that the electrical module will short out if a small amount of moisture enters.
Broken handle
If there is damage, the hatch cover gets stuck. This happens due to strong pressure, impact from the inside, high load, and mechanical damage. You can set it up yourself:
- remove the cover, unscrew the holders of the plastic rims;
- separate the rims, disassemble the structure;
- the faulty part is replaced with a new one;
- reassemble in reverse order;
- assemble the rims and attach the lid.
