All modern automatic washing machines are equipped with a self-diagnosis system and are able to detect faults as they arise. Of course, these systems differ depending on the class of the device and the brand, but the principles of operation are very similar. The owner of the device learns about the operation of the self-diagnosis system through the display or indicator, where an error code is displayed. This happens if a malfunction or incorrect operation of the main systems of the machine is detected. The code value, as a rule, is not displayed on the display, so to find out what happened to the precious device, you will have to find its instruction manual or scroll down this page and find the code value in the table. Some washing machine problems can be fixed on your own, but most problems require professional intervention.

How to fix problems
It remains to talk about how to fix error E1. First, you need to figure out why the Aquastop hose in the Samsung washing machine suddenly became damaged. It is necessary to determine whether the leakage protection has worked; for this you will need to find a special indicator. If protection occurs, the hose must be replaced. In order to change it, you need to turn off the tap, remove it, and then install a new one. This seems easy at first glance, but in reality there can be problems with the length. Therefore, if you cannot find a suitable hose anywhere, most likely you need to contact a specialist to eliminate the cause of the E1 error.
The mesh located on the intake valve filter is easy to clean. The first step is to turn off the tap. You need to start unscrewing the hose from the Samsung washing machine. And from the place where the connection with the body occurs, you need to remove the mesh.
You need to put it in a solution made from citric acid for about thirty minutes. Then rinse the mesh thoroughly with running water, then put it back in place. After cleaning, you need to screw on the inlet hose of the Samsung machine and open the tap. After this procedure, error E1 should completely disappear from the washing machine display.
If a breakdown occurs in the inlet valve wiring, you will need to disassemble the washer to carry out repair work. First of all, you need to completely disconnect your Samsung washing machine from electricity. Next, open the cover to correct error E1 and find the inlet valve. Use a multimeter to check the wire that goes to the valve, and also use this device to check its functionality. If it is no longer suitable for use, you need to buy and install a new one.
If the electronic module of a Samsung machine breaks down, it is not recommended to repair it yourself. If you have no experience in this, it is best to call a good technician to eliminate error E1. This will save money, since doing it yourself can only make the problem worse.

How to avoid heating element breakdown and error occurrence
The heating element is directly responsible for heating the water in the washing machine. Therefore, this node is constantly in contact with it. Over time, the heating element tube becomes covered with a layer of scale (similar to an electric kettle). It is imperative to remove white plaque, as its layer will gradually grow. When the critical point is reached, heating will be less efficient. The tube contains an electric heating element. If the metal tube is destroyed by scale, the electrical part may also be damaged.
On a note! You should take care of the condition of the heating element even in areas where the water composition is relatively clean. Even it contains various impurities of salts and metals that settle on the surface of the heating element, gradually leading to its destruction.
To minimize the likelihood of damage to the heating element, it is recommended to clean it regularly. There are special products for this, for example, Calgon. They can extend the life of Samsung machines.

Code recognition scheme based on indicator signals
In Electrolux washing machine models without a display, the information error code must be read from the indicator signals. There are various modifications of panels, but the main importance when deciphering signals is which control module is installed.
In models with an EWM 1000 control module, the error code is transmitted by two indicators located near the “Start/Pause” (first) and “Wash End” (second) buttons. The lights blink rhythmically, then pause and repeat a certain number of blinks again. The number of continuous flashes of the first indicator will correspond to the first digit of the error information code, the second - to the second digit of the code. For example, if the first indicator flashes five times between pauses, and the second - three times, then the washing machine displays error code E53 .
Models of Electrolux washing machines with an EWM 2000 control module have a more complex scheme for recognizing information codes. The code is indicated by eight lights located on the right side of the instrument panel. The top four transmit the first digit of the code, the bottom four transmit the second. You can determine the meaning of each combination using the table below.
The photo shows a table that determines the information code in washing machines with an EWM 2000 control module
The ordinal numbers of indicators are counted from bottom to top. For example, when the first and fourth of the top four lights are on, it means, according to the table, the first digit in the information code will be 9. If among the four bottom lights only the first is on, the second digit in the information code will be 1. Therefore, the full error code in this case – E91 .

Washing machine error codes
Hello, friends!
Modern technologies save us from a lot of worries and hard physical work. Also, thanks to new developments, modern technology is able to conduct independent diagnostics and inform us about any malfunctions that have arisen, but in its own language. For example, a washing machine, if a problem occurs in it, can tell us the cause of this problem on its display. And if you know what this or that code means, you can, in some cases, repair the washing machine yourself.
To understand what our machine “asks” for, below I provide a list of fault codes for the most common models of washing machines and, in fact, the meaning of these codes.

UE error - what to do
If the washing machine writes a UE error, then you need to consider several options for your actions, which directly depend on the cause:
- Only one or two items have been loaded - in this case, you need to add several wardrobe items and continue washing;
- You have loaded one, but very dimensional, large item - the drum cannot evenly distribute the load, an error appears - you can reduce the number of spin revolutions or even disable the function for a while;
- You are washing completely different types of laundry, each of which absorbs water differently and has a different weight - load laundry of the same type;
- Bed linen is quite often the cause of the UE error - things are twisted, clogged, extremely unevenly distributed throughout the drum - remember that the total weight of such things should not be more than 2 kg. Also set the spin speed to no more than 800 rpm;
- To avoid overloading, carefully study the instructions, which usually contain a table indicating the weight of things.
Candy washing machine codes
E01 | The hatch locking device is not working properly, at this moment the doors do not close and the indicator does not turn on
E02 | Water cannot be filled because the valve is not functioning or the filter is clogged. Water level exceeds nominal
E03 | Water cannot be drained; the system has detected an error of exceeding the drain time or its complete absence
E04 | The water level is too high (deviation from the norm), the water filling system does not work
E05 | Problems with the temperature sensor, the water does not heat up, but the wash does not stop
E07 | Tachogenerator faulty
E09 | Alarm about problems with the drive motor | Control failures are possible. |
Reasons: what to do to solve the problem
Sometimes you can deal with a problem immediately after it appears. Such cases include those where the error occurred due to improper use of the device. Otherwise, you will need to replace the components of the washing machine, then you cannot do without the help of a specialist.
Overload or underload
It is quite easy to understand whether the machine is overloaded. Need to:
- Remove some of the laundry.
- Manually start the spin mode.
- Wait for the program to complete, remove the wrung out items and load the next batch.
Error codes for Bosch washing machines
F01 | Loading hatch error. | The door is not closed tightly, or something has gotten between the seal and the hatch. |
