How to use a Samsung washing machine
If you decide to update your household appliances and choose such an advanced brand as Samsung, I advise you not to rush and think carefully. In no case do I want to criticize the quality of these washing machines, as for the quality, it is above average and this is a fact, but there are other problems. The most important thing is that you need to find out whether the manufacturer’s requirements coincide with the operating conditions of the Samsung washing machine in your home. Just don’t shout that I had a Samsung and it worked flawlessly, no one will argue here, but now these SMs are stuffed head over heels with electronics that calculate water pressure, water fill temperature, etc. For example, to save energy, some owners connected their equipment to hot water from a gas water heater; now such a number may not fit. The fact is that in certain models there are water fill temperature sensors and if the water is filled above 50°C, the control module will immediately stop the washing, it is difficult to say why this was done. Now let's look at a simple pour of water. Previously, the pouring time was practically unlimited, at least on my washing machine, water was filled in up to 5 minutes. Now, if the SMA does not fall within the 3-minute range, an error will appear on the display, that is, the pressure must be no less than 1 bar. I gave 2 examples that you should first pay attention to, but now let’s talk about how to extend the life of a washing machine
- Wash as little as possible in the 90°C mode → we are not just talking about scale on the heating element. You must understand that in this mode the heating element itself fails faster, and there is also a load on the wiring and control module. It is important to understand that if you set it to 90°C, your washing machine will work much longer than in simple mode, that is, you are reducing its life. If you need to evaporate something, it’s better to do it in a vault, or at least do it once a month
- Do not use citric acid or calgon → this stuff will corrode the crosspiece. Below I will post a video about this, and I will say that citric acid plus 90 ° C, plus the presence of electrolysis (every machine receives electric shock) is an explosive mixture, it does little good, but does a lot of harm
- Place a separate outlet from the meter → under no circumstances use carriers and tees, these are the enemies of your equipment. You must understand that a washing machine consumes an average of 2.5 kW, that is, the wiring must be separate and powerful
- At the end of the wash, open the hatch door and the powder container → you just need to leave slits so that the inside of the washing machine is ventilated. Thanks to this, there will be no unpleasant odor in your SM.
- Use only high-quality powders → pay attention to how the powder washes off and most importantly, if you see that all the powder in the powder container is not washed off, then try changing it. Most likely you are using some kind of fake, but sometimes the culprit may be insufficient pressure, this factor must also be taken into account
- Place a rubber mat under the SMA → it not only prevents the washing machine from walking around the entire room. The mat reduces vibration, this is also a proven fact
- The spin mode should be no higher than 800 revolutions → the lower the spin speed, the more resource you leave for the washing machine
- After every tenth wash, clean the filter → I am assured many times that there can be nothing there. I learned not to believe such fairy tales, just don’t check, but still some nasty thing will fly past your hands
- After each wash, wipe the glass of the hatch → thanks to this, there will be no scale left at the place where the hatch comes into contact with the rubber band, as a result, the rubber band will last much longer
- After finishing washing, unplug the machine from the outlet → many times there have been cases when, due to a power outage, the brains of the washing machine failed, although it seemed to be turned off with the on/off button. In short, a button is a button, but you have to pull it out of the socket
All the recommendations I took from my life experience, everything was tested in practice. The instruction manual, of course, will not say that you cannot wash at 90 degrees, of course no one will write that you cannot set the spin cycle to more than 800 rpm, but the manual contains a lot of useful material. After reading the manual, you can install your washing machine, connect it to the sewer and water supply and simply learn how to use this equipment

The most important thing is to connect to the sewer correctly; here it is important to take into account the requirements that are specified in the operating instructions, and they state that the drain hose must be at a height of at least 60-70 centimeters. When connecting to a water supply, it is important to take into account the water pressure; for modern Samsung washing machines, the pressure should be at least 1 bar
